Jays hat in love foolosophy video
I am desperately searching for the hat Jay is wearing in the "Love foolosophy" video. It is not an extraordinary one (compared to his other hats) but still it is not that easy to find.

Anyone has a hint which manufacturer produces this kind of hats?

Hello Sapierre.
Well, if you find a manufacturer that make the same hats as Jay, then tell me cause I want to know!.
Actually, I heard that it costs to him like 15.000 (I don't remember if dollars or what) each one.
But do what we did, make it yourself Wink .

http://www.rodkeenannewyork.com/ is where JK gets his hats from. Youre right, its not extraordinary, infact I have one very similar to the one JK has in the LF video. (But what I DON'T have is a digital camera to provide a picture right away Sad )

EDIT: Ofcourse the AFO and other special hats are custom made. BTW Diego, nice hats you made there, I changed mine to black, I have some pics but they're not developed yet Mad

I've written this link for several times. Well, here it is again:

www.rodkeenannewyork.com

Some of you will maybe recognise this one:

Especially Jan:

Or this one which is similar to one in Love foolosophy:

This is the guy where Jay buys his hats from. You will probably recognise quite a few of them that you've seen Jay wearing. They are expensive too.

Classy

Thanks for the weblink, but I guess those are way too expensive :-(

But I can't believe none of the mainstream designers copied the style of the hat. I probably have to wait and if I am lucky I find one similiar hat at a retailer out of the blue.

@serge: where did you get your hat from?

Do you mean my Love Foolosophy one or my AFO one? If you mean the LF one, I bought it in Paris from one of the souvenir shops (they sell lots o stuff). I remember it, it was very very cold and this hat looked lovely and warm and I bought it Smile I'll try to get a picture of it.

Rod Keenan New York hats do look good... but like you say, WAY too expensive. They used to have a Fall 2002 collection, which actually had the hat that JK wore in the LF video but its not online anymore...

Cool....
buffaloman_R Hello, :bm_r:

Well, thanks for those pictures Wink Mteykay & the info Serge, I often wondered on where you could those hats. Mind you, just to afford such a hat, I would have to offer a family member as collateral just to purchase it..HAHAHA! Heck, those hats don't look so tough to make a copy of, I wonder if my grandma still got her yarn and sewing sticks? Hmmmm..... Peace!

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000
