Submit your JamiroStory here!!!
buffaloman_R Hello, :bm_r:

Well, after much discussion with fellow Moderator Diego, we have decided to take turns composing our own JamiroStories! If you don't what a JamiroStory, it was created by Diego, and are stories composed using lyrics elements & song titles of Jamiroquai songs, pretty cool idea isn't it! Wink! Anyhoo, the topic for Diego & mine's first JamiroStory is the rumour about JK being dressed up as Gladiator in the first video for the sixth Jam album. Here's my first JamiroStory, the lyric & song title uses will be in Italics :

*JamiroFan's JamiroStory: A Gladiator's Morning in Rome*

The sun rises, like a butterfly searching for a love that's so hard to find , the rays of light encompass Rome's corner of the earth. The farm animals and beasts glint their sleepy eyes, waking from their slumber, like their brothers before them. Mr. Moon, vanishes over the horizon, the Romans, dressed like men from foreign seasons, let loose the kids into the early morning glory's newly made haze. Roman Centaurians, slightly yawn to stop the sleepiness that is too young to die. Then they look and snicker at the happy children's exploits, as they are off imagining and blowing each other's minds.
Grunts of stretching slaves are heard echoing, like a tune being played for you upon the dewy air. Jay Kay, a bright eyed and bushy tailed young Gladiator, who was just 17 trying to get on like his dead brother , wakes up to the new morn. The Head Gladiator, a hunky funky jerky type of man, walks the corrider doing that dance that busy mind can only do, thinking of all the Murda that's on the schedule. Jay Kay slips on his cloths, looking as famished as a child in a hungery land. "Have you heard the news today?", is uttered off the lips of a Roman tablet etcher, thinking of all the Roman people around the world. Roman politicians keep their distance from the homeless slaves that line in front of the gate to the Senate, hungery cause there's no more fish left in the sea .
Roman senators follow behind them, trying to help their people break oppressive legislation, execute your natural liberation, then attend the baths to enjoy rejuvenation . Roman citizens give them looks of scorn, knowing that they're pushing those distorted visions, living cause they are the ones dying cause of their decisions, and know that they will never attain a higher space . The Vestal Virgins also pass by in a tight flock, never to love ya, need ya, to share time nightly, so tightly, to blow any man's mind . A branded heretic, stands aloft a crowd of Romans preaching in Latin, " Higher, higher, now we're going to fight the power! No doubt, in time, everything is sweet sunshine, but in the meantime, mankind, is having trouble where to draw the line. We still don't, respect, and yet I thought we had intellect. Faster, stronger, I help my brother and my soul lives longer!" A Centaurian guard walks up and breaks up the scene, now the heretic steps down and stops by taking a bow . In the busy marketplace, the young gladiator JK walks with a fellow warrior complaining, "People tell me I'm no good. Cos, I'm expressing all my sentiments through violence. It's the only way I got to channel all my vehemence. True sincerity ain't charity to live a life of a do-gooder who doesn't benefit from a self-defence ." JK's fellow gladiator shakes his head in agreement and adds, "We satisfy the souls of chosen men. Our superiority was clearly meant to be! A troubled trail of tears tells the tale of their lives!" JK grins and says, "All I think in combat is.... I am the wind....I am the sea....I am the sun...I can step beyond all the boundaries....I can turn any stone....I can do anything !!" The cohort peels out a grin and agrees with saying, " Nothing is going to change the way we live !" Both friends, mentally slipping the sickly ties that earthly man has made , continue walking through the marketplace, expounding on life with hearts that sing to the world from islands in the sky . Very Happy THE END :-D

There you go, hope you liked my first attempt at a JamiroStory, I know I do Diego proud with this Wink. Thanks for reading and I can't wait to read Diego's portion of this JamiroStory! Peace and ENJOY!!

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

OK. This is the end of the story. I tried to do my best after Jamirofan’s great jamirostory. I hope you like it (sorry for my bad english, and for not following the story exactly):

Ready for the fight and Jay wonders who he will meet. There is a whole bunch of other gladiators with him.
Meanwhile, outside, in the `Coliseum Home’ (the name came up to Little Angela, the daughther of an old emperor, who suffered delusions 400 hundred years or more) the people was coming to see the skinny Jay. But the people was getting nasty because of a poster outside that said `Find Yourself a seat on Coliseum Home` and there was no seat! The place was full.

Jay is very nervous. Hes got a weapon in his hand, he has got to use it, cause if he doesnt, he knows he will be dead. A man asks to other when the fight starts. And says:
-“Well... Mr. Moon is who gives the sign, then thats the sign that goes and we have to be prepared because we can die today, did you know that???”
As you can see, the place was not calmed. But Jay brought hope:
-“OK, guys, today on each other we depend , we have to be strong and fast. I know, they decided us to be here, but now there’s no escape from what they have done, we can’t go back. By the way, did you hear about the man who tried to be truly free, truly free? Well, that was Russell Crowe in Gladiator: we have to do the same thing!!!!!”.
Yes, Jay calmed down the situation. But all of the sudden, they were outside. All the people screaming and cursing. And one lady asks to another:
-“Hey, why they have weapons?”
-“Actually, people say its the way to stay alive”.
Yes. They had big and strong weapons, because they think they are invincible but without a true weapon, its unthinkable.

There are tigers in a cage, so he is afraid. He wants to be alive. He wants to be a singer but that might not be possible (specially because some of his friends, like Nick Van Gelder, Nick Fyffe, Toby Smith, Simon Katz and Stuart Zender they don’t want to be part of the band he wants to make.... who knows, he might find some really good musicians Wink ). Mr. Moon shouts “Nobody make a move!!”
So, the tigers escaped, and they were all by themselves, restling for their lives. But he closes his eyes, cause he doesnt want to see killin’.
The fight starts and the people begins to scream desperately... theres too much panic in that coliseum.
Blood everywhere, screams, fights, killing. Every bird was singing the melody of that bloody fight (not a nice tune by the way, it sounded like the new Hollywood Swinging cover by that group ehhh Jamiroquai). Well, now theres no hope for peace and reconciliation.

(But Jay stays alive. And while he fights he thinks how this can happen on planet Earth, that place with high mountains and deep rivers).

He fights with a big gladiator named himself as Cheeba. So, at the speed of Cheeba he tries to keep his movements, cause he is faster than a speedin bullet. But Cheeba knocks him down. And J is lying on the ground while he says:
-“Now my life is in your hands, but just give me a chance, I’ll do what you want me to”
-“HAHAHA!!! What are you gonna do to stop me this time, bearded?”
-“You know the saying –the people change"
-“Well... I like to stay the same”- Cheeba says.
-"Don't kill me"
-"Noo...you just may think you're in Heaven"..........

In the white of his eyes, you can tell by the tears, he is a warrior who cries. On the inside he was dead and this is what he said: will we flourish in this hurricane or we will fall and die?.

Lyrics included (in order of appareance): Drifting Along, High Times, Manifest Destiny, The Kids, Planet Home, Snooze You Lose, Mr Moon, When You Gonna Learn, Deeper Underground, Light Years, Scam, Light Years, Stop Don't Panic, Just Another Story, Drifting Along, Deeper Underground, Half The Man, Planet Home, When You Gonna Learn, Space Cowboy, Travelling Without Moving, WYGL, Mr Moon, Main Vein, Shoot The Moon, Destitute Illusion. Supersonic, Manifest Destiny, Black Crow.
