Thanks for the informations Wink

I've a funny anecdote : when TWM was released, I was only 10 years old, so more carefree than now. And when I came across Cosmic Girl, I thought to myself : "this guy irritate me! He's showing off with his Ferrari and his pals but he's ugly, he's not well-dressed bla bla bla..." I know I was stupid. Maybe I was influenced by french rap clips of the same time (most of them were pieces of shit).

And in 1999, Canned Heat changed my silly mind... Smile

Happy Birthday TWM!
I love it so much! My first jami album! I think it was the first cd i bothered purchasing with my own money as well Laughing Got it when i was on holiday in canada Very Happy (from walmart i think... or maybe it was costco... oh who cares anyway Laughing ) I remember eagerly searching for it among the shelves; peeling away the plastic wrapper and opening it up at my aunt's house; my cousin poking fun at the weird name Jamiroquai; the wonderful fresh papery smell of the lyrics booklet as i flicked through it (if i sniff hard enough i can sometimes still smell it Wink ); listening to it the first time....

If my memory serves me well it was today (Sept. 10th) TWM was released in the rest of Europe (Sweden, France, Germany etc). So I will celebrate today rather than yesterday. Wink

Happy Birthday to Travelling Without Moving or, for the friends, TWM Very Happy

My closest memory when the album came out is 'Cosmic Girl' I gotta say. I was 10 years old, TOO YOUNG, I didn't even listen to music, but I do remember seeing that video on tv, I know I did, along with 'Virtual Insanity'.

I love that album very much, it was the second one I bought after 'Synkronized', I bought it in 1999 too. The rest is known history.

But I'm happy to be part of this album, even that little bit.

Great post Ed.

D!

i love this album, i discover the band with the cosmic girl video and now i feel happy to that time when i was listen and watching really excited that car fantasy(yea, that video is a car fantasy for me...oh god, holy shit, every time when i watch the video i feel like im jay driving the lamborghini and there's no limit to stop to drive...) Cool
i love every track of this album, this things dont happen with sinkronized or a funk oddisey...even when i dont know where i buy the album that this album is on the guinnes records, for me this album is very special...i love to play in a hot sunny day in my city, when im in the move to get out to the roads... Cool Cool Cool
and im still looking my cosmic girl, but she's far away but i dont give up, im sure she's close to me, dont ask me now but i feel so good...
