Look is he cannot erase all what it exists of the moments and the music of band.
It accuses to try to perhaps destroy the origins of the sound of the band, with the words that he said.It must have spoken right

I tink this is the most important part of the all music.
What Zender do it was so bad , that afected the all band, at the point to finish with the dream.Dream what dream? The Band? The Album?
He left the Album in the middle of recording, what all band leave behind half the dream , the band is the other half of the dream, or maybe the dream is just the new album.
He left behind half the dream because some music they had been recorded before Zender left the band
He as the freedom to do anything.
If he gets what he want , is nly for one day , and the band as is All days.
It will be that it was therefore that the sound moved in such a way in the band?
With the exit of zender, what it made was so serious to have a radical change in the sound and to try to forget the “broken dream”?
It will be that it was had that to embed everything?
To notice that the music that comes to follow in some albums is Deeper Underground, to leave everything well in low there?
Look is the last music in Synk , is do different the sound between Synk , Afo and the first 3 Albuns.
That really damage the band? At point to change the sound?

Hmm..eventhough I knew what the song was about, I actually never really took a good look at the lyrics. What is funny though, is that there's no bass in this song 
But seriously, what I think is somewhat remarkable, is that Jay took a lot of effort to let the world know about his problems with Stu. So I suppose he was ór really really mad, ór a bit sorry about the whole situation but not whilling to admit it.
Why did they release this song as a single? It's not that great really, it doesnt even sound like a Jamiroquai song. And if you look at the videoclip; suddenly there's the whole band in it (except Nick Fyffe, who I've never seen in a videoclip btw), something you don't see a lot in Jamiroquai video's. I think Jay wanted this, to put power behind his thoughts. As if the whole band would support him in his oppinion and feeling about Stu.
In reality, I personally don't think it was like that. I've read interviews with Toby and with Derrick, in which they both were very positive about Stu. I never heared them talk bad about him...
I think that in conclusion I could say that this whole thing is a good example of how the band Jamiroquai ticks; Jay's the boss (something which Stuart didn't want to cope with that anymore).

I agree with you Funkie Junkie, and I think Nick appears in the You Give Me Something video, near the end, when J falls from the bed. You can see Nick, Rob and I think Derrick and Sola, but I dont remember I am not sure.
(maybe Nick is not on the King for a Day video because there's no bass on the track...)  |

:smoke:  HIGH TIMES 
It desires to show the current society, the state where if it finds.
It is a message that proper it tries to pass to all the listeners and fans of the band, to say that its HIGH TIMES, have to finish therefore are to ruin the life that it has.
It says that if it has that to move away from these modern times, not accepted the form well as it sees the future, it is a double message, for all the followers of the band. Message this that also comes in the Virtual Insanity where if speaks of some problems of the society (but Virtual Insanity is for the next time )
The ideia of that the drug becomes all the simplest ones, in the ones backwards the wealth the fame, that in takes them for another world, the search of an eternity and tranquilidade that is only had while this high HIGH TIMES, lead for the paranoia of a person, the drugs bring these effect.
The time that if has to live the life is precious and if it does not have to shoot the life for the garbage or stops backwards only because of the drug.
"Because this HIGH TIMES are killing me!"
It's Just my ideia.

Virtual Insanity

So let's talk about ...
...Virtual Insanity.
What in we live them, the life that in we take them, it does not leave of to be fantastic what the man obtains to eat, all the prefabricated foods, fast food, I think that it is to the ideia that if can take from here.
When if it says of the great things that had to be small, I I do not have the certainty well the one that if relates Jay Kay and Toby Smith when they had written the music. 
It tries to all give its love for the land, for the protection of the nature, in defense of our planet. Concern with the ambient problems that afect the world. And does not go to have nothing that obtains to change the attitudes as we see the world, because all in them we are selfish, we want and we obtain to take off, but never we obtain to give! And the things each time are worse. In the end of the first part of the song it makes sound to everything what it was observed stops backwards. In the world that this wild and completely full of sins. 
Now it has that to see the confusion that exists, and becomes difficult to arrange a beginning to command everything of new. Perhaps to leave itself stops backwards all the lies that the modern man leaves for the society, we can obtain for the world in the certain way. Having in account that the music is of 1996 still it continues sufficiently current for the days that they run, ties the question of the clonagem is related in the musica. Criticizing that they are not the natural methods but this age in the past now we live in the Virtual Insanity. It does not remain exactly to wait and to pray for a different World.
What it is the Virtual Insanity? 
Attempt to reach the Impossible one, to want to reach what it is not obtained. All the ideias that are taken by the modern man, are not ideias useful, do not help nor to the planet nor the human being. Is a complete madness, changes of the order of the things, the natural form as they had to be made. Had to the advance of the technology that as much praises. Virtual exactly the promises to only change the world for better with the high technology and a more advanced world. The sound that had to arrive at all, the sound of hope of one real change for better does not arrive at the ones that are controlled for the powerful ones.

In the beginning of the musica, good before the part of the piano, takes attention to the Background Sounds, for me I have the ideia that it is that small ship that this loaded of hope and spirit of change that if calls: S.S. Orenda and that it carries the warriors from the change, gift in the VídeoClip: "E.O.P.E." of 1º Album, seems that if this disconnect, is the end of the spaceship.
