JK told to "go away"
A little bit of news from todays The Sun paper:
" Go Away, Scruffy Jay
Poor old JAY KAY. His unique dress sence doesn't go down well with everyone, it seems.
The Jamiroquai frontman was up for a good time at London's posh The Collection for JAY-Z's Prince's Urban Trust Party on Saturday.
But when he turned up wearing a scruffy jacket and his trademark hat, he was told by the beefy bouncers that he couldn't go in. Inside, the likes of Beyonce, Mis-Teeq and Big Brovaz were partying the night away.
But there was no strop from Jay, who simply shrugged his shoulders and walked away.
He obviously knows better than to tangle with those enormous American security guards"
Its good to see JK not being too bothered about some little Prince's Urban Trust Party. With the likes of Beyonce, Mis-Teeq and Big Brovaz being there, I'm sure it wouldn't have been that good anyway |

*Laughs out loud*
Hello, :bm_r:
Hee hee, how unfair, thanks for the news Serge! Could you post a link to the article? Man, those bouncers may really be from the states and never heard of Jamiroquai nor JK. Thank goodness JK walked away, if he had arrived with a few drinks in him, he would have had another incident on their hands . But, I guess British fashion even doesn't get you into parties, thanks again for sharing that Serge, much appreciated ! Peace!
Sincerely,

Thanks for that JamiroFan2000,
Unfortunately there is no online article, I simply typed out the article from the newspaper, I tried to scan it in just before but my scanner isn't working properly :(
You're right about it being good that JK hadn't had anything to drink, I'm sure he would have reacted very differently |

Oh-ho, I can imagine. This is a parody, and is not meant to be taken seriously. If you don't have a sense of humor, I suggest you not read this.
Drunk JK: Oi, wazzup? I'm here for dis party....
Bouncer 1: Sorry, sir. No can do. You look like you've had enough.
JK: Whazzat? How about some cheeba to smooth this over? (pulls out pack of ten spliffs) Nuttin' better to solve probs with than the good stuff, I say, heh, heh.(Starts to wobble)
Bouncer 2: Are you bribing us with pot?
JK: Whaaaa, dis always works.
Bouncer 1: You're hammered, buddy. I don't care if you're the Space Cowboy or Cat in the Hat, or...whatever the heck you are...you're not comin' in.
JK: Oh come on, dude, I've got a spliff with Jiggaman's name on it.
Bouncer 2: Look I've seen you in the tabloids getting all crazy. With all the paparazzi looking for a pic, you really don't wanna be seen like this.
(Tries to get JK to stop wobbling)
JK: OI! DON'T FRIGGIN' TOUCH ME! I KNOW WHEN TO SAY NO, AND I'M NOT FRIGGIN' DRUNK! HOW DARE YOU CALL ME A DRUNKEN GOB!
Bouncer 1: I didn't call you a drunken gob.
JK: YEAH RIGHT, YOU WANKER! (Swings at bouncer)
Bouncer 2: Sorry, buddy, but...(Punches JK in face)
JK: (Lying on ground with bloody nose) Owwww.....
Camera flashes from a bush near the club. JK loses his drunkenness and leaps up and chases.
JK: Get back here! Friggin' red tab lackey!
Paparazzi is too fat to lose him, and soon JK hunts him down and starts punching.
JK: Tell your little friend from the Star Wars premiere hello, you little---
Cut to morning, The Daily Mirror has photos of the incident on the front page. The paper is lowered suddenly. The setting is Chillington.
Derrick: Jeez, not again.
Sola: What?
Derrick: Jay's in Scotland Yard, again. We'll have to bail him out.
Sola: Red tabber?
Derrick: Yep.
Sola: I'll start the car. Meet you outside.
Rob enters the living room, yawning and trying to wake up.
Rob: What's up?
Derrick: Jay's in trouble.
Rob: What trouble?
Derrick: Dude, you've been with us for three years, and you don't know what kinds of trouble Jay can get himself into yet? Even Matt and Alex know...and Alex just hooked up with us last summer!
Rob: Yeesh, sorry. (Goes to raid Jay's fridge for breakfast)
Derrick(under his breath, walking out the door): Once the new guy, always the new guy...
If anybody gets tweaked over this, my apologies. This is just a humorous parody. DO NOT TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY!
Thank you _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. It really does. Otherwise, I have to be honest, I can see a situation where...there is a possibility that you become lost in the annals of acid jazz history." -- Jason Kay |

hihihi I can just see it as a comic strip in my mind's eye Especially the part with Derrick and Sola "I'll start the car - meet you outside" I can clearly see the two in a superman suit!!!

Hello Jamirotalkers,
Fiuuu.. thank God Jay didn't participate on any incident!
Now... he is in partys, etc, there is nobody who can ask him how the recording of the new album is going??
(no more fashion events, no more racing tournaments: I want to listen to music!!!! ) |
