Jamiroquai.com (Official Site) New Look/Features!
 Hello,
 I was most surprised and impressed with the new look of the Official Site today, got some new features and still has the old features . Here's the Funkin Site's newsitem about it:
All the features of the previous site are still there and some new features have been added, such as links to the latest forum feeds - oh, and you get to hear the Runaway single in full when you visit the homepage.
Do not forget that if you want to tell the people behind jamiroquai.com what you think of it, how you use it and what you'd like it to do better for you, then please complete the Jamiroquai.com visitors survey (LINK: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=411862607473 ) that is linked from the site.

I just filled in my survey, strange how the new Official Site look kind of mirrors the Funkin Site alot, which is a good thing, but I do think some of the icons for some of the features are a bit lame, but the major plus being that everything is simplified when it comes to accessing all the areas of the site much easier.  A tip of the mushroom hat to all the online team for a good rehaul of the Official Site, I like what I see so far . ( Plus those new effects on the buffaloman during random visits to the site are cool too! ) This could very well be the beginning of a "independant Jamiroquai" from any record labels, I mean, look at the copyright notice, "Copyright Jamiroquai 2006", no more "Sony/BMG" influence on it....SWWWEEETTTT!

2 NEW FEATURES I NOTICED ON THE OFFICIAL SITE :
- If you click on the "Audio Box", then click on "Videos", you can watch either the videos for either "Runaway", "Love Foolosophy" OR "Space Cowboy" in the left box where a picture of JK from the "Little L" video was (  Though this feature is a bit dodgy and works on and off, sure it will work completely soon ).
- If you wait a few seconds when logging onto the site, some cool CGI effects will start lighting up in the black static image of the Buffaloman.

The site it isn't good in many ways. They've only changed the first page appearence, the rest stayed the same, even the forum as the same colours.
Honestly, the marteking surrouding this website is very bad. They must have paid good money to get something good... and the result for is disasterous.
I don't like it for many reasons, the one in AFO was better! much much better!

I had to adjust my screen as it cut out a lot of the right hand side of the website - I think it looks good - would be great to have more in the gallery though - not much there really.
Also, isn't purple the color of Jamiroquai - I thought that's why they did it like that on the website.

You can see so many flashy, well designed band pages on the net, why didn`t spend Sony more money on it? I`m sure because Jay`s out of contract. My fellings are that the quality of the page is not in line with the quality of their music, and that`s annoying... |
