Hey thanks Russ - wicked to see it looking half decent!

Although... in your file I d/l the audio goes out of synch towards the end - you get that? I think it could be part of the encoding process, coz I've had a similar thing happen to me with some formats on occasion. Most probably your pre-encoded file is fine and is closer to what the torrent or whatever will be like later on.

Cheers Very Happy

You know what?

We really should work on BBC to broadcast the entire gig.

Or even better... the band and BBC should agree on releasing a DVD with the full gig. For those who couldn't be there to experience it... and those who were there to re-experience it.

We are a 2000-something strong army just here at Jamirotalk. Put an idea like this on funkin.com and the other forums and that number will rise considerably.

I don't know whether an online petition is actually worth anything. But we should definitely do some digging and try to find out who to contact at "the beeb". I have a contact there, I'll see what he can do for me. Hopefully he can provide me with a name. If someone else has a contact at the BBC, do not hesitate to ask him/her how to proceed. Those of us with good connections with band members should try to pull some strings as well.

What do you think? I'm a just dreaming or can we actually pull this off if we're persistent enough?

I'm 100% serious. Quote Lord Tennyson: "It's better to have loved and lost than not to have loved at all". What I'm saying is that it's well worth a try.

I'll email my "contact" tonight. He's a producer at the BBC. A friendly bloke... I bet he'll give me a name if he can.

Thank you very much for your work Russ, it's good to have somebody who doesn't make me feel like "hey, I have to move to UK"!

One comment I have though is the audio seems to go out of sync after track 1 and gets worse as the tracks progress, is anyone else having this issue?

It goes out of sync because the video is (probably) at an 'odd' number of frames - like 59,743. The player, or possibly a faulty plugin of any kind attached to it puts the framerate to 60 because (I don't know some math terms in English) it isn't able to read and process the vid so precisely.

Or maybe it's just your computer.

Russky, I can't wait for the torrent! Very Happy

twins ... watching the video right now!!!
To see my soap bubbles at Space cowboy and Seven Days is just... 2bouncy somersault 2goodvibes
(those were the only two songs I bothered Jay with the bubbles...hehe... he was surrounded by them a few times. Wink )

By the way, on the video the stage looks bigger than it actually was, im my opinion. Amazing how Jay was able to jump, dance and move on that 1 square metre!!! Shocked

Thanks so much for the video. And yes, we should try everything to get this on a DVD!!! good
