word inaki - i feel what you are saying. i know he never wanted the greatest hits, i was referring to the sounds of the other albums. i figured he used words like 'experimentation' to maybe cover up how he really felt, but at the same time - he did hype those albums and defend them a lot - but it's all good.
you can't piss off the people who help pay your bills..

..for me, it's a good news. I don't hate computers, but...someone could use them for composing, and someone only for recording facilities. I remember that Martin Gore used to compose wonderful electronic songs on...his electric Gretsch or a piano.
One thing is composing with...PC's drag&dropping (simple, isn't it?), another is to play a Rhodes, interplaying with a wonderful bass pattern...I think Jay is choosing the second option...and, as someone correctly said, that doesn't mean no synths...
