Question: Bugs on High Times?
Yesterday i bought the special edition and the DVD.
And when listening i heard something weird.

With High Times, the song, it is like they cut it in half and glued it back together.
After about 1.5 minutes you miss 1 second of vocals.
And i never heard a female voice saying, something that sounds like "give me something". That is after about 1.45 minutes.

I checked it a couple of times, and the missing of vocals is really there.
The voice is there to, but maybe i never heard it on the originals???

I know that these cd's are pressed with i dunno howmany at once....but do you also have the same "problem" ?

Are you talking about the cd?
mm.. Now I'm listening to it but I don't listen any kind of voices saying "give me something"...

What is true is that they cutted the instrumental part of the song... as other songs on the GH.. and this makes me so angry! Confused
It's not fair

The High Times radio edit was very badly edited at the first point and this is the same edit, I believe, so we have to live with it. :/

Yes, talking about the CD
Not the mixed songs, just the normall songs.

If this was meant to be...man....why butcher a song that way?

I listened to it, the cd, yesterday and...maybe i got spoiled by the gigs.
But, i don't like it too much. The songs sound cold and clean.
It's more a feeling, so forgive me about my "cold and clean" description.

all the tracks are the "radio edit singles" which are usually cut for time, so often instrumental parts are cut out.

Which is a shame, because the remastering job on the older tracks especially is absolutely superb! The rhythm section on TYTD and BYM sounds so... FAT!

I hadn't noticed the breaks in High Times, although I've not listened to most of it yet. I just remember being disappointed that it is NOT the non-UK version of the song featuring the 'last night changed it all!' vocal at the end of the chorus (because someone on here, can't remember who, said that it was going to be after listening to the promo)...

It's the Radio Edit which was released on both the UK singles, black and silver.

The worst cut is at the start of the second verse at 1.26 on the lyrics "... twisted crystal kingdom"...They cutted the word "This" Shocked

That is the second i was missing!!!

If you listen carefully, after about 15 seconds you hear that strange extra voice.
