Oh, Fantastic!
I love that song, I got excited for the first time I heard it. Very good guitar and back vocals. I think Radio should be in Dynamite instead of Feels Just Like it Should. It's very funny and we could image a lots of things hearing that tune. So rocky and disco at the same time. _________________ You've got to stand up, stay strong, now! |

I love this song!
The boys really got it right with the rock sound this time. It's rocky in a jamiroquai way. It really grooves, and it doesn't sound cheap or rushed. Maybe that's because it's the final manifestation of Cannabliss (which I've been dying to hear for the past five years). It's clear that this song grew out of that, but it's not quite as hard as Cannabliss was. But man is it dirty, and I love it. It's a new sound, but a new sound that I can really dig. I'm so happy with this! And the chorus just blows me away. And there are some effects here we haven't heard but before, but they've got that nice cosmic feel I love to hear from Jamiroquai. I can't stop listening to it, and singing it to myself.
"let's make a supernova
let's make another naked light show!"
Love it man. I hear this and I know Jay has still got plenty of juice left in him (in every sense of the word).
Peace. |

Freddie is back!
Completely agree, I said it, best they've done in a long time. Sounds fresh and new, different lyrics than what we're used to, but yet sounds like classic JMQ with that chorus.

...listened with only a PC headphones (I'm waiting for the CD)...but it's a great song! Wonderful harmonies, the chord progressions are awesome (I admit: good job mr. Harris!) and the sound is...simply FUNKY! The synth line from Matt remembers me something from...Starsky&Hutch or Taxi Driver...that mood. I can't imagine next year, next album with..horns! Oh yeah! |

We were kinda hoping this was going to be pulled out of the hat last night.
From the first moment I heard it, I loved it - pure, dirty, filthy, funky Jazz .

Hello,
Hehe, well, what can I say about 'Radio' that hasn't already been said over and over again....it's the first 'Bisexual Jamiroquai Song'! That is, the first song where JK gets tricked by a bisexual ladyfriend, and you would think in a situation like that JK wouldn't shun away from that & just go crazy! As well put by dear Sister Heather, it is a indeed a dirty, sleazy, grimy, dusty, suavy, in the thick muckiness kind of new song....and I love every sinful moment of it . I just wish J could churn dirty songs like every day in this sleep, maybe a "dirty album" is what we need after JK's 2007 music break, where JK, wearing his boxers on his head, runs around manically calling for everyone to get "Jamirosexified" and just have a good time, and to quell modesty's anger, keeps in tune a "self-protection" message and hand everyone a condom. OK....I can't believe I typed that...but yeah, my imagery is a little disturbing, but we all have a "weird side" to our persona . Thanks for listening and to quote a lyric, much like our stateside problems with getting Jamiroquai played, "Let's get it on the radio" !
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

*** Little H grabs a multi purpose fire extinguisher and lets rip all over JF2K's alter-fantasy-ego as she runs around with her boxers on her head ***
'Sir' JK has something to be very proud of in Radio, it's smutty and yet sensual, it's erotic and yet not crude, and the music takes you on the ride that only Jamiroquai could deliver necessary to compliment the lyrical mystery . . .
. . . bring on the Jamirosex-fest as the magic pill to cure modern pop's anorexic demise of the same old, same old lyrically starved and exhausted copying of the artistry of icon figures like Jamiroquai.
Timberlake et al should find their careers more rewarding, and help them to discover integrity (or are they aware of the crap they copy and churn out ???), as becoming janitors for true job satisfaction, that is said with all respect to the hard working men and women who diligently do their jobs and bring the bacon home, and could be missing out on a ridiculously rich calling of being vocal artists. _________________ Jamily to the bone !!!
