PRIMITAL -santi ibarretxe-
i listen to this since it was out, and now i'm writting here cause a couple of days ago i was at my second concert from them and again i was amazed.
i can tell you, you never listened to notihng like this! some of you may dislike it but if you're into jazz and funk and you are musically openminded i'm sure you will love it.
the music kind is labeled as surrealist-dadaist-funky but again, i can say you never lsitened notihng like this and it's impossible to put it a name.

the album is really amazing, the primital II is coming and can't wait for it...but i've got the dvd (you can get on his website) and that is unbelievable
it's called primital live, and it really really deserves the 12 euros it cost, i can tell to anyone with good jazz funk taste that will be amazed with it...
i seen 3 times in 2 days.....

i've listened the whole album(classicable as an alternative funk music), and my favourite tracks are Funky and Casino , do you have a free bootleg or only the official dvd? |

i only have the album and the official dvd...but i still don't think this music is classificable....
my favs are.....mmmmmm.....all! really!

i'm crazy with this band this days. i like it sincei know it (a couple of years ago) but you know this usually happens with some bands, it comes in cycles, i seen them live a month ago or so and since that i can't stop listening to it or singing the songs along....and since i own the dvd.....i seen it 5 times (and a half) in so short time......what a great musicians, i love the feeling they have, i know the drummer, it's an old friend, and he is wonderful in all the aspects, and i'm knowing the singer/writer/sax/flute and he is so nice and so funny.....i feel like everyone should know this band!

I like it! Especially the more odd and quirky tunes. The song Prímital is my favourite.

primital remastered
Santi have added the whole primital album remastered in his site (http://www.primital.com so you can get it for free, theres also new material of the forthcoming album and clips of the dvd to see there.
the remastered album sounds so good and i really recomend you all who wantd to hear something new, fresh, crazy and high quality music, and to all who know already this music and wantd to have it for free!!!.
