I am very sure that a funk odyssey won't be a track on the new album.
There's always a track with the same name as the album.
Emergency on Planet Earth, Space Cowboy, Travelling Without moving, Synkronized (played live) and a funky odyssey played live too.
too bad it was not on the album because it is one of my favorit tracks.
never heard a song that seemed to be shorter than 2 minutes and it is not |

I don't think this one will be part of the upcomin' album. It's more like a b-side...IMHO it will be relesead as part of a single. I think it's great song, I heard it live during the sound check of the Brescia's Concert in last year's June and was amazing... _________________ I once had a 10 years of Travelling Without Moving celebrations banner here... |

I love Shoot The Moon, and whatever happens with it, I'd just love to hear a studio version |

No matter if "Shoot the Moon" makes it or not on the new album, any ladies are still more than welcome to walk the sunny avenues of life with me. Especially Adidas. _________________ Wouldn't 'ya like... To walk the sunny avenues of life? |

Hey Jaminneapolis, when I'm gonna see your face on this site? You know how I look, but I'm still waiting for a picture of you!!!
So, get busy to make a picture of yourself, a decent one, and put it on the site! Hey, and maybe you have a chance that I dig you too _________________

Would you like?Would you like?Would you like?Would you like?
I can that this from my head! Is one of best songs from Synk/Afo era.
I like very much to listening it on this Cd or in a Single , anything but from studio version. I want to listen some Saxophone , Trompete in this song , i tink that would sound like diamonds to me...
For more songs for the album : confirmed? Only Black Devil Car.
We can wait a bit..i tink , We came from to long..
Here some photos from Jamiroquai , performing Shoot The Moon in Montreux 2003
I tink in this concert is the best preforming of Soul Education i ever heard.
What a big jump Jay give during the actuacton _________________ hooked up |

Agreed to all of those! And to add one important thing - Derricks drumming (and Sola's percussions of course too). I want the rhythm-section to sound 'live' and luscious Drum fills and acoustic drum sounds in general. Drums in AFO for example are so computerized and over-produced.. boring. That's my wish _________________ kite carrier (geuze)

You are 100% right , and anyone can listen in very better in 2001.
The sound of drums from 2001 ara like you said "computerized"
Well , we just have to wait for the Setember...(album) and maybe Agust for any Single! _________________ hooked up |

All perfect 6th album wishes...
Hello, :bm_r:
I love all your thoughts & wishes for the 6th album guys & gals ! If your wondering what my wishes are, well, simply put :
*JAMIROFAN2000'S 6TH ALBUMS WISHES & WANTS*
1. More horns and making the Martin Shore led horn section a more integral part of the 6th album song compositions.
2. Less elements of techno aspects of the "New Jam sound" that were all over the last two Jamiroquai albums, but I don't mind a little of it on the dance numbers.
3. Much like Geuze's point about Derrick's drumming, the drums and percussion by Sola will also have to be a integral part of the new compositions on the 6th album.
4. The album cover, WILL have to feature one of the three following things: The Band, A Buffaloman Or a Earthy enviroment in the background.
5. The biggest thing I want is more great "full band" instrumental excursions, much like in the vein of "Music of the Mind", "Journey to Arnhemland" and others. Also, I would like to see some new original music for use as B-sides for the single releases from the 6th album.
There you go, I know, this my "6th album Predictions" Dejavu! Oh well, thanks for listening and keep all of your distinct wishes for the 6th Jam album coming, they have all been great reads ! Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

Personally, I want analogue, not digital sound. Pull out the good old Fender Rhodes, Hohner clavinet, minimoog, electric bass and guitar, acoustic drums and percussion, horns and perhaps some strings (but not too much). It would be fun with diversity, having some funk, latin, rock, jazz, tribal stuff. But Jamiroquai - please don't go all electronic on us.
