Yes it has! LLCoolJ means the same, the only difference is that the J stands for James and in my nick it stands for Jeroen. Wink

Well, I´ll try to explain how my nickname was born. Well, first of all, I have to say some things that maybe help you (and me) to unserstand my "original" nickname: - Here, in Spain, we are very very foul-mouthed people. - The "ugly" expressions that we use, normally are used like normal expressions. Well, some years ago, when I started to use internet, I needed to register in some pages if I wanted to download movies, videogames, music... When I went to register, I tried with my name, name+numbers, and more combinatiosn, the software said me that the nockname was already taken. So, I decided to search a nick, orihinal nick, to register in all pages as the same. Well, I remmebered a expression that my father uses: mojogonlopoto. This expression (my nick) is used by my father when he is on good mood. When he is doing anything, and then some things fall down, or he makes something not correctly, he uses the word "mojogonlopoto". But... What is mojogonlopoto? Here in Spain, we use this phrase: "me cago en la puta". Well, if we translate this expression to english, we will say something like this: I shit on the prostitute (well, a very ugly expression). Then, If you put all the vocals with the "O", you will have this: mo cogo on lo poto If you relax the pronunciation, you will have: mo jogo on lo poto Then, join the words: mojogonlopoto That is the secret of my nick. I know that couls be very very strange, but it´s very effective. _________________

first it was jamira,from my name-amira and well,jamiroquai.then it was jamirica(my brother called me that-means little jamira) but when i tried to register with that on gmail it was already taken so i just swapped the i for a double e and got this name!it looks better than just jamirica if you ask me you pronounce it jameeritza. and it has absolutely nothing to do with america. _________________
