Well, aparently it is true: Jay Kay is writing about her ex Denise Van Outen:

JAMIROQUAI singer JAY KAY is determined to demonstrate how good his relationship with ex-love DENISE VAN OUTEN is - by writing songs to help her launch a pop career.
The COSMIC GIRL singer, 34, dated 30-year-old Denise for three years in the late 1990s but the couple split acrimoniously in 1999.
However, since then the duo have put their differences aside and have now got such a good friendship, Jay Kay was delighted to offer his songwriting services to ambitious Denise.
Jay Kay enthuses, "I can't wait to write for her. She is a wonderful singer and has great delivery."
