6th Album Tour 2005
Hello Jamirotalkers,

I just read on Frenchiroquai that the band could be possibly touring Europe and America on the very beggining of the next year (2005).
And if I understood well Rolling Eyes , it says they have been finishing the recording of the album in Los Angeles this month.

"Driving around in my Black Devil Car...."

i think, with the upcoming release in September a european tour at the beginning of 2005 is quite possible.

first thought that comes to my mind.. great, driving around in snow and ice... Rolling Eyes

second thought - who cares? bring on the tour-dates!!! Wink

I second that motion!!!
buffaloman_R Hello, :bm_r:

Very Happy Yeah, I second that motion too Bear Very Happy! I would like to see a earlier tour of Europe in the winter months, early 2005 touring is definite but I think a limited tour earlier at some great venues would make a great Christmas present for fans as well the Sept. release of the new album! Thanks for listening and Peace Wink!

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

I think we were supposed to get a tour with AFO in 2001, and all we got was a one-off in New York.

I'm more than excited that the idea is thrown around, but I'll believe that Jam is coming to the States when I see tour dates.

Hey EvoV,
can you give me the list of the songs of that concert you were listening Wink ?
Thanks.

About the tour dates, I really hope they could come here to South America (he said he loved here, and he even did a video -High Times-!). And the US? Well, you have more chance to receive a JMQ concert than we have.

Hello Jamirotalkers,

I just read on Frenchiroquai.com that the band will start the next tour on 2005, as I mentioned in the post that created this topic. But the news here are that they will be touring Europe and America, were they havent been here since 1999. Great news for us here! I am happier that ever!

I cant even get a copy of their DVD because it wasn't released in the states yet and even if i ordered it from the UK, its not in our format for our dvd players. but, if jamiroquai does not come to the US on the next tour, I'm going to the UK!!! any americans who want to join me? we can meet up somewhere in the UK or something. I NEED to see them. I got canned heat in my heels!!!

yeah I've thought about it, but don't buy your ticket for London just yet. Some of the recording for a new album went on in LA last month, which (in my opinion) bodes well for a US tour (knock on wood!)

Beena,
I unfortunately bought a live in verona dvd with the wrong region code, but through ebay I was able to find the correct one on the 2nd try. So go to ebay and you can buy it there. Otherwise go to www.funkin.com and you can download a part of their Montreaux gig for a little live video fix of them (in the site's download section).
Also look in the "search and find" section of this site, and talk to people around here and you can find a lot of that live stuff to download. PEACE!

P.S.: Let's see 'em in the U.S. and if we got any $$$ left then let's go see them in Europe somewhere. It gives us an excuse to go out there. (The chance of me having the $$$ to do that: zero unless I hit the lotto or the trifecta at the horse track lol)

You need a region 1 dvd for the US. I bought one online from amazon that was listed as 'region free' but turned out to be region 2, so beware. If you can't find a region 1 dvd, you can download software (download.com) that will let you view any region on a computer dvd drive. Last time I checked (a few months ago), it was about $40.
