thanks god I am not using myspace that often.. I also very rarely add people. I only add those I know.

Attention! There is a new bulletin from Saffy7 (Claire) which seems to be a fake...
It announces: NEW PICS!!! ... and when you open the bulletin there is a link which seems to head over to Saffy7's myspace picture site, but in fact you are directed to a page that asks for your log in details. FAKE!!! Take care!!!

Already did one hour ago. I noticed the fake url and i've been alerted by the fact that I was already logged!
TIP:
The best way to prevent this malicious threats IMHO is to login on the plain myspace.com homepage and then there will be no need to ask login inside of the single profiles.  Hence if a login page appears it's definitely a phisher.

Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention.
This is a CSS style code the gets embedded in two sections of the profile,
about me and movies sections. One in the about me section is real long;
the one in the movies section is shorter.
To see if you have the virus, visit your page and place the cursor (do
not click, only place it over) the sections for HOME, BROWSE, SEARCH,
etc.... This should read in the bottom left of your
Screen: HTTP://home.myspace.com/index (after index is just all your
information) If that does not show, YOUR PAGE IS INFECTED. Also use this
before clicking HOME on others pages as well!
ONCE AGAIN:
GOOD: HTTP://home.myspace.com/index
BAD: //www.example/example/login.html
This is a VERY easy fix, go to your ABOUT ME section and scroll to the
bottom, there will be an extremely long code that you will not
recognize. The code should have the words:
Image, login repeated several times. Simply delete the code and save
your changes. Also check your MOVIES section.
Every time you sign in look at the anchor text for the link, the only
official MySpace URL is (http://../)
Most methods of phishing use some form of technical deception designed
to make a link inside a profile appear to belong to the spoofed
organization. Misspelled URLs or the use of sub domains are common
tricks used by phishers, such as this example URL,
http://www.your.example.com/. Another common trick is to make the anchor
text for a link appear to be a valid URL when the link actually goes to
the phishers' site. This is known as website spoofing.

I have seen that phish before.I got tricked by it.Thats why I stopped myspace.
