GIG IN THE SKY!!!
Today I was shopping at a big shopping center in Barcelona, El Corte Inglés, when suddenly I realise that there's a Jamiroquai promotion in the movile phone area. Nobody's gonna believe me as I can't find a website or anything that talks about it. I'll scan the leaflet and send it to David.
It seems that the band has an agreement to promote sony ericsson's W810i and W850i walkman phones. I guess it's related to what they made before with the K750 phone. You can participate for free, the only thing you have to do is answer some questions about the phone and the more original ones will win a price that includes tickets for a concert to be held on a plane from Munich to Athens, hotel for two and also another concert in Athens. It's called "gig in the sky" and it's on the 27th of february. There can only be 3 winners and 2 of them have had to buy the phone...
I don't know, I guess we should try!

I must say I'm a bit stressed by competitions...can't they just say:" gig on the air is...tatatta pounds/lire/euro/rupies!" at least I know I cannot effort it and I don't dream!!
I'm so unlucky that I will not win even being the only one partecipatant...or I could win only if the prize is :"a kick in the ass by JK!"
but as usual I'll cross all the fingers I have and hope!
(ehi ehi ehi I'm saying I'm not lucky wining not that I'm not lucky at all...I still remeber HOW lucky I was in October eh!)

Alexandra - Did the interview with Jay get published and I missed it? PM or put a link up when you get a chance. I'd love to see the final outcome.

i just imagined the situation..or tried to... a plane...the band performing their songs...where?..(we have to get pics of the inside of the plan i really want to see that! ) must be one of this supermodernbig planes..
maybe a plane with only a few seats..that people can dance?
oh and imagine that...everybody standing up and jumping? naah.in a plane? hmmm...
how many people will there be?
i hope for no thunderstorms that day...
 
have fun u all who are going there..i don´t envy u this time..(i hate flying!!!!!)

Here's some info from Funkin.com...
Stories and news is starting to appear about an exclusive Jamiroquai gig being held high in the sky on-board an aeroplane in February 2007!!
According to posts on the Jamline mailing list, Jamirotalk and the Jam Party People Forum, it is part of a promotion between Sony Ericsson and Jamiroquai and there will be a concert to win "tickets for a concert to be held on a plane from Munich (Germany) to Athens (Italy), hotel for two and also another concert in Athens. It's called "gig in the sky" and it's on the 27th of February."
More details about this gig will no doubt appear over the coming days and weeks. It looks like there's two gigs now in the planning for 2007 - this one and the exclusive gig for competition winners as part of the previously announced Intel promotion.
