i'm agree in your words about homosexuality, normal/anormal stuff...
but i can't understand people who claims to be from a religion (any of them) but then differs in basic ideas of them
(condoms, homosexuality...whatever)

i don't want to be rude but i already see stupid to be religious, but even more to follow a religion wich DISRESPECTS people and your own ideas.
(homosexuals, womans, etc...)

Thanks darling.

You and I have done this pas de deux before, and I know what you mean about religion being stupid. I question the logic and the logic and the stupidity question me all the time. I'd like to convince myself that I am 51% on the right side of things. I'm not religious as such, but I do have a minimal type of belief in one God.

if i was a believer, believe in any god, i would do my own religion and follow my own rules to please that god. not follow (absurd) rules, beliefs and acts invented by others (and used to win power and money).

That is the ideal of the divine religion, but man messes things up nearly every time.

It's not an ideal though, it's a divine revealation. I can believe in a higher being that is what we conceive and percieve as a diety. I can't understand much of the ugliness and cruelty of life though, but is this beyond human thought ???

i believe in something..i don´t know what exactly..i think religions are just made up because people don´t get the WHOLE BIG thing..as it is just too big and amazing..

i think naturally the world is a positive one..but it is what WE make of it , not any god...

When I was little I used to think, 'Is there a God, a hell a heaven etc., etc., etc.'

And then I'd answer myself with 'There must be, because why would everyone build churches and why are there so many priests'.

But I never 'had' religion when I was a child or until I was 21 years old.

people need a quick response to that BIG THING that don't understand.
the fear to the death makes people be religious and not understanding the world and the life makes believing in a good.
i dont' have fear to the death, or to the hell.
life is what is it. after it theres gonna be the same as before it. just nothing.
life only is for a very small part of time, theres no infinity, nothing will remain except the on the memories of other humans and in the gens of your sucesors.
do the right thing with the little time you got to live!

some churches build up so many rules..they limitate your acting..
i also have to say there are good sides..as myself i love to play guitar in church..i see a community which comes together every months and there are topics as..hmm..about love the people next to u..or be thankful...
religions can have a good message aswell...and like to pick out the best of it..( but i was taught at my catholic school that this is not allowed..to just pick Confused )...i kinda don´t care Very Happy

I found most of the answers to my questions about life in Islam.

Islam inspires belief through the observation of beauty and love in God's creation. It rewards with the mercy of God which outweighs his wrath.

99% of Islam is about the 'self'.

It differs from Christianity on one point only, the status of Jesus.

Islam encourages investigation into the proof of religion and belief in the one God.

Man is incomplete and incompetant and corruptable, religion is needed as a stabilizer. You cannot please all of the people all of the time, mankind is now too diverse, but God's true interpretation of religion is always applicable.

I am a practising Muslim. I wear hijab, pray, fast and have completed my pilgrimage and declare that there is one God, and that the final of his prophets is Mohammed.

Please if anyone wants to ask me a question about Islam or Muslims, I can answer impartially and correctly or admit my inadequacy if I do not know the correct answer.

to me is not a matter of stupidity, anyone is free to believe what the hell ( or paradise ) he want!
stupidity start when one pretend all the rest of ppl to behave and believe in the same! to force ppl, to convert ppl, not to let freedom in believing!

to me one is free to believe in anything untill it does not effect others!

personally I never found a religion to believe in and I'm a courious person so I've been searching a lot...I just believe there is a reason, is not just a case if we are here, and Love is my God, in any form!

but has Little H said : what's normality? who can say this is normal and that's not? hows so up to everything to decide?

luckily not normal Vere Wink

everyone is free to beleive whatever he wants, or whatever have tell them.
i'm agree on that.
i don't know if is exactly stupidity or just conformity, but it's for me definitely something if just "swallow" everything they hear (not only in religion, also in other life aspects, and even in scientific issues).
if your fathers tell you since your first day that your father is a horse of the mountain next to your home, of course you will tihnk it's true....but then at certain age you should start thinking investigating.
god is just another HUMAN invention, told by generations and generations years by years, and as we all know this kind of things use to stay as a true, but the same logic can be applied to any other invented storie (like Flying Spaghetti Monster).

to force other people to believe in something or not to let them being free in their beliefs is not stupidity. is fascism, athoritarism or something like this...

'Good' people becomes 'bad' people when they think in this way. No man is God. And separation between 'good' and 'bad' people is extremely subjective.
