without doubt it's "Mr Moon"
Maybe thats because I'm always there! (on the Moon!)
and maybe it's because of the warmth of it's rhythm
but most of all because they play it at "Zambujeira do mar" - Midnightsun Tour, it was the last day of the tour and I saw Jay with a tear in the corner of his eye...
so every time I listen to Mr Moon I'm happy and a little sad too
I'ts perfect cause I feel like I'm in love.
I feel "saudades" of that time!

For me Blow your Mind album version it just got that groove zender keeps that bass groove running and makes the song, then you have the 4 mins of instrumental at the end with keyboard solo's. Possibly the best song ever produced |

I was watching the DVD high times yesterday...
'Canned Heat' is surely among my candidates as best jamiroquai song.

Hi all well for me it is either too young to die, or tighten up (as performed at Japan 93) because the improvisation and solos, not to mention the vibes, are just fantastic on the latter. |

Yep, but Tighten Up is not a JMQ song. If we are talking about live performances, well... that deserves another topic!!!

Why oh why has no one mentioned 'Too Young To Die'?
It was the song the really made me a Big Jamiroquai Fan!
Besides that it has to be 'Alright', and the single & album versions of 'Space Cowboy'.
A couple of others that no one has mentioned:
'The Kids' and 'Half the man'. |

Space Cowboy
Mr. Moon
Canned Heat
Virtual Insanity
Just Another Story... I'd say those songs represent Jamiroquai at their highest level, but there are many more.
If I had to choose one song, it'd be the album version of Space Cowboy, definitely. |
