Jamiroquai on UK local radio
I found this on the website of my local commercial radio station:
Jamiroquai On The Radio
"The Cat in the Hat has been entertaining us with his irrepressible selection of hits for nearly 14 years. We're giving you the chance to catch Jamiroquai on the Radio this Friday 2nd February...
Jamiroquai have sold a mammoth 20 million albums over their impressive career. Their selection of hits simply roll off the tongue: 'Virtual Insanity', 'Space Cowboy', 'Deeper Underground', 'Seven Days in Sunny June' - the list goes on.
After failing an audition to become the singer of the Brand New Heavies, Jay Kay decided to set us his own band called Jamiroquai. While the bands musical style today is more akin to disco-funk, they originally were a core component in the early-1990s London-based acid jazz movement.
From MTV awards, number one singles and movie soundtrack hits, Jamiroquai have continued to display their unique style in an ever morphing music industry and never fail to impress.
Make sure you catch the band live on the radio on Friday 2nd February at 3pm talking about everything from their musical influences to future plans. Whether you want to find out everything about Jay Kay's penchant for lavish hats and vintage cars or who they'd love to perform with don't miss this amazing interview.
If you're otherwise engaged this Friday, then fear not! VIPs will have the exclusive chance to re-live all the action from the interview from 4pm. So if you're not yet a member of the VIP club, make sure you sign up below"

This station serves just Kent and Sussex but is part of the national commercial radio network which includes station like Capital Radio, but I can't find any references on their website. It is possible that this will also be broadcast on the net and it sounds like a recording will be made available on the site afterwards.
Thought you all might be interested... |

It's just the interview.
The songs (Canned heat, Virtual Insanity, Love Foolosophy and Deeper Underground) were cutted.
Well he talks about the feelings connected with Canned Heat (the departure of Stu from the band ecc..), all the things won with the Virtual Insanity video (so Mtv awards, grammy etc..), the fact that Heidy Klum wanted to shot a vid with the band (it's the same speech that he did for the DVD GH interview) and.... ahaha! There's a part in which he says something about sex
something like "Sex it's a great thing..Without sex what would will do?"
ahaha! _________________ "God bless our high times!" |
