I printed out the German terms of conditions from the sony ericsson competition. They said: "The winner will be notified between 1st and 5th of February 2007 by telephone and email."
So all winners will be fixed until midnight today.
Hope to hear of some more winners here 
Anyway congrats to cooladi so far  and welcome here

Yes i won on Radio Energy Zürich Switzerland
I had to answer questions at the radio over jamiroquai into that finally and won! that was on 23 January |

Let's be realistic... a few pages before I said it already: the promotion for this event was really big. Enter "gig in the sky" jamiroquai into google.com and you get around 40 000 results!!! I have seen in a lot of internet-forums that people (not necessarily fans) talked about it, considering to enter the competition - there were many many sites who annouced the competiton and linked to sonyericsson.com - let's say 10.000 people have entered - the chance that one of us has won is so so small - we have to face it. 
When there is a competiton at the official jamiroquai site chances are way bigger, because then you have maybe 400-500 entries. This competiton was wide spread - chances are very small. Sad but true. Probably the winners got contacted in the last days - doesn't look good for us...

In Europe yes, but in Russia no....
That wasn't announced as wide as in Europe, and lots of russian people (not necesarely fans) who just couldn't register at SE site coz it doesn't support russian mail servers and in Russia there's no such big community asin Italy for example, and here there weren't any additional competitions....so chances are bigger than in Europe but you know our corruption is on the highest level so I won't be surprised if someboy's child from SE russia will go to that concert and that's so so sad! |

People who are not fans, but still wants to be part of history being made have entered this competition.
These people would have entered even if the artist wasn't Jamiroquai!
They would have entered if it was an Elvis impersonator.
Even if it was Britney Spears' step-cousin's friend's dog's breeder's daughter's friend who incidently likes to sing Britney songs in her karaoke machine who performed on that plane they would have entered the competition.
Why?
Because history is being made! It will be in the Guiness Book of Records. Lots of people want to be part of that. Even those who aren't Jamiroquai fans.
So the chances to win were slim to none I'm afraid.

Yeah.... you and mouse are right... As a long term fan, I feel a bit let down to say the least
It wouldnt be so bad, not getting 'tickets' if you knew the people on board were fans... but you're right... Sandriche made a good point too, maybe some people only entered to get a new sony phone. So unfair!
I just hope the band get the vibe, excitement and appreciation they deserve.. it makes you wonder |

 Sorry for what I said... but I was really depressed and hungry... you know, everyone of us really really care to this Competition.. So it's difficult to face the truth..
However I just recovered my brain and I'm back to be myself
all of you said truth things.. so let's hope to see a bootleg or something similar on Internet the days after.
And for all who won (still unkwon people.. let us know about you  enjoy this event and bring back home a lot of good feelings!

I love you all very much, but you guys should really relax. I guess that is coming from a girl who couldn't enter the competition at all (actually I did enter the Sun one), but seriously...
It is a bummer if you don't get to go, but it's okay. Hopefully a bootleg will pop up and people like Coolida and the others will come back and tell us all about it.
Next, you are counting yourselves completely out already. The gig is still some 21 days away. It's a slim chance, but anything can happen between then and now. It's slim that you will get on the plane, but who knows about the actual concert in Athens.
Lastly, just because people don't post on Jamirotalk,Jamiroquai Official Board, aren't your Jamiroquai My Space friend, don't do trading or whatever...doesn't mean they aren't fans of the band and don't deserve to win. I'm sure there are those that have won that can only name 1 -2 Jamiroquai songs and/or those that are going because Daddy knows someone who knows someone who got them a ticket, or those that entered for the Guiness World Book of Records or those that just wanted a new phone. But I'm also sure there will be SOME fans on there. Some that maybe haven't seen them before.
Don't stress about it so much. Maybe you won't be there, but it's alright. I'm sure that this won't be the last chance to witness Jamiroquai.
