i thought this topic means for bands that are today active..coz i would surely put the beatles,so as early rolling stones _________________ "on the bass st.st..st..stuuu zender!!"

The 10 bands most important to me in my opinion are: 1 - Jamiroquai 2 - Beatles 3 - Rolling Stones 4 - Deep Purple 5 - Jimmy Hendrix 6 - Cold Play 7 - Lenny Kravitz 8 - 2 Pac 9 - Outkast 10 - Skank (from Brazil) Hey Diego I also like Fito Paez.

These are the one's that come to mind for me: 01 - Jamiroquai 02 - Red Hot Chili Peppers 03 - Level 42 04 - Stevie Wonder 05 - Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five 06 - George Michael 07 - The Jackson 5/Jacksons 08 - James Morrison 09 - David Gray 10 - Robbie Williams The top 5 are sort of definite choices, then the rest could interchangeably be swapped with others that I like! _________________ 'This is the world he wants, pray for the brave and the young...'

hey i see many people with nearly the same artis ill coose something like: daft punk the chemical brothers modjo earth wind and fire and so on really interesting for me at number one is of course jamiroquai and incognito i think no.2 btu i think i cant make a list^^ _________________ maxud braucht funk food denn dann bleibt maxud maxud tell me if these are ligh years... dont stop the beat...

Well, why don´t you think before the bands before posting? For example: Boney M, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five (Who are they?), David Gray (??). Surely the bands I´ve thought about are not the most important bands in the world, but probably you will know all of them. _________________

hey woops i didnt read the thread properly thot it was most important bands for me ...and Boney M were a group from the 70's who made songs like: Daddy Cool Rivers of Babylon Rasputin Ma Baker

Yes, i know perfectly Boney M. But I dont think they are one of the most important funky bands. Earth Wind & Fire, Jacksons V, James Brown, are much more influent bands, I think. _________________
