Summer Anthems: Alright: Audio Previews@Myspace!
buffaloman_R Hello, buffaloman_R

Smile Just snooped over to the Jamiroquai Profile Page and they have a few audio previews of the sixth and late final Summer Anthem series of remixes for "Alright", but there is something REALLY interesting concerning some of them Smile. It appears the first remix sample, The Fred Falke & Alan Braxe Remix, has NEW JK VOCALS on it, from what I hear, I can't tell if they are old vocals or merely it's the low quality that makes me think this. The others are nice, but the Fred & Alan Remix is exceptional, check it out here:

http://www.myspace.com/jamiroquai

Thanks for listening and please leave your thoughts on what you think of them! Cheers!

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

I doubt that J would re-record Alright just for a remix, so I guess it's either:

1. The vocals they used are from an alternate take;
2. The vocals used in the remix are vocals from a live version of "Alright".

It's quite possible that #1 is true... If so, Jamiroquai should really start putting some alternate takes on their future albums.

...What's odd is that the cut verse lines appear both in this new remix, AND in some D-Zire's "Vocal mix".

Sounds fresh! Very Happy

I seem to remember those old vocal versions finishing the lines off with "... we can spend some tiiiime together..." rather than "... maybe wanna beee with meee..."

Oh yeah... I believe it's the 5th and final of these, not the 6th Brent.
