Covering Jamiroquai
Hello everybody!
I'm a bassist, but I play other stuff too like clavinet and guitar.
I am making a cover of that most groovy song of the all, Space Cowboy. It's not done yet, but when it is, I'll try to provide it. I don't have anywhere to host it, but I'll deal with that later.
So far I've recorded the bass, the Fender Rhodes (intro and choruses only, the verses puzzle me) and clavinet (the break only).
I'm planning to record vocals drums, guitar, percussion and some synth later. I'm using a neat little program called Cubase SX, which is nice, as it has a metronome I can follow. I'm not really a great drummer, so I'll deal with that later.
Please don't expect magic here, I'm not really that good. _________________ Supergroovalisticprosifunkstication! |

good luck mate ;-)!
Hello. :bm_b:
COOL TRS ! Good luck on your new effort and can't wait to hear the results ! I consider it so exciting that many fans are playing Jamiroquai them selves and creating such magic with their renditions, namely so far "The Space Cowboys", Fouzi, the group Jacarandaa and many others who have shared their covers of Jam classics thank you all for them ! Again, good luck TRS and we all here on JamiroTalk.net look eagerly forward to it ! Thanks for listening and Peace !
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

I think it's great to all the bands who plays Jamiroquai. Here in Venezuela all the people is "Rockered" and "Punkered", but anything about Jam. I am a percussionist (well i know to play it) and nobody is interested about playing this kind of music. My percussions sounds like Salsa and Merengue, that's because of my musical etnies, I like to play Timbals too. I really wish luck them to all these bands who are interested of playing jamiroquai. If i've the opportunity to join a band, i'll do it.
I love seeing Sola performing in the Live in Verona concert. _________________ This is FunkEducation, supporting the 1992-1998 Jamiroquai!!

I love Salsa!!! I really adore that kind of music, makes me happy all the time!
In a few weeks we have a festival named SummerCarnival. It's something like the Carnaval in Rio, but then a lot smaller, but always a big party in the centre of Rotterdam!!!
With lovely music, drinks, boys (and for you girls). _________________

I'm a great dancer of Salsa and Merengue!! I feel it in my veins like I feel FUNK AND JAZZY!!!! Yeah!!! Something good of Salsa is that you have to know how to dance!!! it's very easy for latin people, but i think Jay Kay will be a disaster dancing Salsa!! Hehehe imagine that... Jay Kay dancing Salsa, jumping and doing a lot of his stuff... As Tito Puente used to do... Other of my etnies are Latin Jazz music, Jazz Bebop and the Classic Acid Jazz of the EOPE and TROTSC era... _________________ This is FunkEducation, supporting the 1992-1998 Jamiroquai!!

Well, while I certainly will finish Space Cowboy, right now it's a bit difficult, soooo...
I'll be working on Too Young To Die first. _________________ Supergroovalisticprosifunkstication! |

I LoVe 'Our time is Coming' is just for: ALL!!! Jay dances so good and Wallis too!!!, stu on the bass walking in all the stage and simon katz in the same place all the time (he doesn't move too much) and the Great Toby and Derrick playin' their instruments... A guy who loves to move on stage is Nick Fyfee, remember Live in Verona and the Montreux Jazz Festival, Rob Harris is more quiet than him, he moves a lot, but in the same place all the time, in a few words, he dances with his guitar... _________________ This is FunkEducation, supporting the 1992-1998 Jamiroquai!!
