The problem is that one publication puts out the story and then a dozen more read it and publish it also, maybe changing the words slightly - but not even that sometimes, so it spreads like wildfire. The publications usually don't care or don't have time to fact check or can't reach anyone in Jamiroquai's management or Jay, so they just run the story if it's even been published in a credited or half decent website/publication.
Thanks for the corrections! _________________ www.dee34.wordpress.com |

To sum up. They're taking a break, but in the meantime they'll keep recording and making music, since they don't have any pressure anymore.
The press read the word "break"... then it became "retirement", then it became "quits"... and so on.

I just read something in dutch press
Over een paar maanden kunnen de fans weer een teken van leven verwachten. Jay Kay is woedend op de Daily Mirror die de woorden uit zijn interview met de krant flink heeft verdraaid.
I clipped a piece out of the site of nu.nl
In a couple of months the fans can expect some signs of life.
Jay Kay is furious with the daily mirrow who twisted his words in an interview with the paper. _________________ May you always feel the wind on your face and the waves on your toes |

Very Impressed with the promptness of Jay's statement.
Didn't leave us with a long time to panic, excellent. Now that's caring! |

well, after following them since I was so young, fast approaching 33 in april, the last couple of days and the excitement...(specially when we read about the fact they were quitting.. and just a short time later the statement release!) I know they will always have a place in my memories / life..
so, im going to get my little tattoo done! haha took me a long time to decide as im not into them really.. but im going to get a little done on the inside of my arm and just above wrist very small and can be hidden at the flick of a wrist
I know this is a bit off topic.. but its the last couple of days which has finally made my mind up |
