I can´t believe it !
I just found out that "Karen Kay" is not Jay´s mothers real name.
Her real name is "Pringle".
Does that mean that Jay´s real name is "Jason Pringle " ??
Oh my god. 
The name " Kay " just comes from his stepfather.
But he doesn´t have any contact to his stepfather,has he ?
Strange,strange.

stepfather lives in my country 
last year , after the concert in Odemira ,jay spend 2 days here in portugal to have some "vacations" and he was with his dad!

EvoV, you are speaking of Jay's REAL father, who comes from Portugal.
Gabik was talking about his stepfather...the "new" man of his mum - not his real father... you know what I mean?

well almeida for what i know , the only word jay can say is...Obrigado(tanks)
everybody says our linguage are hard eheheh
in the last gig in 2003, the only member that talked a bit portguse was sola durin the performace of Love Foolosophy he singed :"todas as meninas portuguesas são bonitas" ehehhe (all the portuguese girls are beauty)
It was very funny if he can talk something in portuguese

Hey, for a spanish guy is not so difficoult to speak! (and I´m sure that all portuguese people could learn how to speak spanish in only one week)
My best friend at university is portuguese (I´m studying medicin and loads of portuguese student comes to spain for studying that) and he can speak spanish better than some spaniards I know...
I can say some phrases in portuguese (I don´t know how to spell them, so don´t get very mad with me)
Eres muito bonita
Tiens enamorado?
Queres venir dar un volta conmigo?
and some others I´m not gonna put in this forum |

Hahahaha! everything you need for sourvive in portugal...hahah you only have to learn how to say "a big beer ,please" for life like another one in Portugal... 
you see EvoV? easy to learn... and in Spain are there really cool universitys 
I also think that portugese is extremly easy...(except the pronunciation,it seems that they're talking to the shirt neck) ........

Yeah, I do remember that story about JK meeting his estranged Portugese father. I can't remember where I read the article about it at, maybe the Sun Times website or the Daily mirror. But from what I remember it was a great meeting between the two. I wonder if his father would ever be a guest musician on a Jamiroquai album ? Oh well, thanks for listening and Peace!
