I liked the lineup that was used in the Synkronized era. Fyfe had replaced Zender, but the Horn section was still there. There was even a guy mannin the turntables for Mr. Kay at the Woodstock gig.
No offense, but I really don't like and of the songs with the Didgeroo in them, so I gotta hate on Worthless... I mean Wallace Buchanon. I don't miss him because I don't like any of those songs. _________________ Wouldn't 'ya like... To walk the sunny avenues of life? |

Hello Jamirotalkers,
Mmm... is a hard question. I think every 'era' (for calling it of some way) has it's beauty. I really like the TROTSC team (the Funky Paradise bootleg is brilliant), and in the Montreux Jazz Festival of last year, they sound really good too. And I have a problem with DJ-D Zire. He is very good, but he shouldn't be playing in every song. It's a little annoying for me to hear the recorded voice of Jay in between, repeating the chorus of the song.
And all the trumpets and saxophones are always excellent. The TWM era was very good too, just like the Synkronized one.
But for me the best is the TROTSC one.

Jamiroquai in America...1997
Hello, :bm_r:
Yeah, you are certainly right Funk_Education, Jamiroquai was the "King of American Music" in 1997 . I remember seeing them playing on nearly every music-oriented TV talk show during that time, the most fondest TV performance: "Alright" on Saturday Night Live. They also did a killer set on the show "Hard Rock LIVE: Live from the Hard Rock Cafe", too bad they only aired them playing "Virtual Insanity"...hehe. And of course, as you mentioned Funk, the unexpected Grammy win for Jamiroquai's "Virtual Insanity" for "Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal"! Oh what a great time, well, I just hope Jamiroquai's new album is a major success here in the States, we have become so "open" to new music! Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000
