Anyone from Ireland here?
Are there any Jamirotalkers here from Ireland - Dublin specifically or anyone that knows a lot about Dublin (as in information I won't find online)?
Thanks, Deesha _________________ www.dee34.wordpress.com |

Deesh:
Dublin is the home of Guinness, and it's the law that you must drink at least 5 pints per day during your stay. The Guinness in Dublin tastes different to that of the rest of the world, due to being brewed using the waters of the River Liffy, which flows through the city.
James Joyce is perhaps the city's most famous son, a man who tried to reinvent the English language in books like 'Dubliners' and most famously 'Ulysses' until it became utterly incomprehensible (everyone knows someone who knows about 'Ulysses', but no-one knows anyone who has actually read it all the way through).
You did, however, ask for information from Dubliners or Irish people, of which I am neither (back in the mists of time, of course, I am). In fact I've never even been there. All the same, enjoy your trip... and if I come across something a little more useful / interesting for you I'll remember this thread!
