CREATION
Hello Jamirotalkers,
I couldn't sleep the other night.. and I kept on thinking... "why and how are we here?" (not the site  , the world, the universe). I know I know, religion's have their own story about the creation, and evolution and everything. But even if there's a God out there (whoever, whatever he/she/it means)... why is it/her/him?? What was before it/her/him?? Are we an accident?? 
I would like to know your opinions about this...

i don't think theres any God, i think it's absurd to think on it, its just an human invention, but creation of things doesn not nothing to do with humans.
i think the response of being here is just "time", the universe haves so many billion years....and you know...with time everything is possible.
chemical elements got time to create different combinations, so the things on the planet made, planets, suns and galaxies, those combinantions become more complex until got a new level, the creation of organic life........
about what was before all this, before the big bang and all...before the nothing.....read some book by stefen howkins....hehehe...maybe you understand something.....i guess at the beggining there wa sonly energie, and it become matery in some way.......and why does that first energy exists?????

what a nice topic name for this diego...hehehe
that´s ssuuuchhh a difficult theme... uff..
i sometimes think about this too..( like everybody, i guess)... why are we?? why do we have something we call a soul...? ( i have to say i don´t believe to any god)
but i see that there ´s a difference between animals and us ,as human beings... and i ask myself .. why... just to destroy the world.  ..( make war.. pollute the nature... torment other human we don´t like, torment animals... we even eat them..and so on...)
are we just an experiment.... somebody watching us... aliens? hehe... i don´t know....i don´t see any reason why we are here... what are we good for...? not just to keep human beings as species alive...hmmm...but what is the reason we are hereeeee??.. we just try to kill ourself... we try to get power , control about other nations...we even kill other people...
(which is never ever understandable for meee) 
i have no answer...now yu might think: ohh.. very dark depressive view... well ..hehe yes it is.. but i ´m a not a depressive person...my main activity a day is laughing and making jokes...  .. wweird but true...hehe
i´m curious.. about other answers.... great topic diego.... ( but very difficult for me to write about this not in my motherlanguage.. i had to use my dictionairy.... hope you could understand everything...heheh)

hey i do believe in god and see that's the only aswer for all this subjet of course w werent created just as the bible says. but thats the reason we are here because god created all of us and the planet and the earth and to enjoy of all the others things we were created just to live and enjoy life just look at the worl isnt it very beautiful??? we have everything but we have to care about it too by not destroying all we were give anda by not killing our people if you are a good guy you will feel good and you will go to heaven ( i dont know what jesus sayed really means think what you believe) and thats the way live is we even have the freedom to be goog or bad the thing is how feel at the end

we are here for the same reason: born, study, have a big house, have a family, get older, and then die... you must say: what's this idiot talking about?, but if you see the real world, that's the main purpose of the people about being here...
maybe we come here to make this world grow up! but i think that is not happening... we are destroying ourselves everyday... one of the reasons i'm here is to help the world, maybe with something little, but at last something... sometimes little things are more important, and a lot of little things, can make a big one!
just think about it... in this world it's all repetitive... we are in the same circle everyday... in my case there is university, house, gym, sleep, university, house, gym, sleep.......... all my life has been the same thing... when i was a kid it was: school, swimming class, house, school, swimming................... always the same thing...

I think that the reason is not the same for everybody: wot about unlucky ppl who doesn't have a big house, a family, cannot study or work?
Life isn't the same : why do some people get all the luck while others never get the breaks they deserve?

i searched in the dictionary and it's not there......but anyway....that post does not say nothing about the topic.
in fact any religious stuff can't provde any real response about this....

Maybe there's a little bit of truth in everything you said. But for me, the whole "creation" thing is something beyond our comprehension and intelligence. We believe in a God because we need to believe that is someone or something out there watching and taking care of use, by praying. But then we find what FRA posted... so where's the God for those people?
I can't understand how the universe is infinite... if it is like that, there's no capable intelligence to understand how big everything is, and how many things must be out there.
