soundcheck
i bought myself headphones yesterday ..sennheiser HD 595
what an experience!! what an amazing difference!
first i changed from loudspeakers to Ipid, then from windows media player to Itunes ..now headphones instead of loudspeakers...pure happiness!!!
how do u listen to your music?
headphones or loudspeakers?
cd-player, stereo, pc or ipod? ....
i mean do u take care of how much quality u can achieve? i didn´t pay so much attention to this before...but it is really worth it...
its half past 3 am..i can´t stop listening to this fantastic sound...

Haha... nice 'phones...
I listen with speakers on my CD player. As those of you who met me at Lovebox will have noticed (the observant ones, at least!) I only have one ear. It's never a problem for me at all, until it comes to listening to music on ear / headphones, because NOBODY makes those things in mono, so I always end up able to hear only 'half' of the song. So, I'm stuck with speakers until Sennheiser / Bose / B&O decide to make a pair of mono headphones (which I can afford!)

Depending on what you listen to your music from (computer, iPod), in the settings you can turn it from stereo to mono so that thing that place in different speakers take place in every speaker. I know you can do this on DVD's in the audio setup menu for sure. I know there is a adapter for headphones that can mix stereo down to mono. I can't remember what it is or anything but I know you can do it (done it accidently many times in my studio!). Anyways, I'll be on the lookout for you! |

I have got headphones but its not that often that i actually use them I normally just use my speakers on the computer, however i know that the quality isnt that good using the PC speakers.
I have an IPOD which i use to listen to music whilst on the move and in the car (have an adapter)
However, i have not long ago made a move closer to the 'dark side' by using ITUNES as my default player for music. |

Hi!
Interesting topic Sandra! Nice to see finally you improved your equipment. Jamiroquai need to be heared through the best speakers and headphones!

For me the same: my television, dvd recorder and laptop are connected to my hi-fi (2x100 Watt speakers).
Besides (I have to avoid angry neighbours) I have Sennheiser PX-200 headphones.
When I'm going out I listen to my ipod nano 4Gb, totally filled with Jamiroquai bootlegs
My headphones
My hi-fi system (old but good)

I use headphones. ALWAYS. If not - neighbor be angry.
I first used these:
HS-02N
First I lost the mic extension and then they broke down in about 2-3 months. Good things, but not really the best.
...Then I used these:
HS-03A
Okay - those ones are nuggets of gold to me. They're small, comfortable, powerful, sleek, portable and whatnot. My pick. They broke down too, but have lasted MUCH longer than the previous ones. Don't remember how long, though.
Had these afterwards:
HS-02F
These ones are AWFUL. They are small, uncomfortable, look stupid, and have broke in half one morning when I put them on, in a very hilarious fashion. One half went down one shoulder, and the other one down the other. And BTW, the sound is awful. It sounds like 96-100 Kb/s. I'm not really glad, but I certainly had a breath when they broke down 2 weeks after I bought them. So much for the quality. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
...And then I got a new, identical pair of my good old HS-03A headphones. I was also surprised on how they don't kill off the batteries of my MP3 player, unlike other headphones.
