...I've seen it on the newspaper (today edition).
The sense of article, in few words, is: "I'm tired, I don't want anymore to do things that people or managers like or espect. Now I feel free to do what I want. I don't want to do another "3 minutes long song" or similar. I've lost every summer for touring, now I want to relax and produce my own projects without stress.I don't have a label contract yet"

I guess we can expect epic compositions in the future. No more short radio edit-like songs but rather really long complex songs with lots of changes. Revolution 1993 and Just Another Story anyone? Wink

He did after all once say something like "X minutes is just the intro where I'm coming from". Smile

I'm sure he wants to enjoy summer just like everybody else. Perhaps we can expect shorter tours. But they will play live though... perhaps even at smaller venues and some festivals.

The future? More funk. More melody. More Rhodes. More Brass. More bass.
Less rock guitar. Less TV.Less fashion. Less drugs and cocktails (ehi, mr Jay, where's gone your wonderful voice? You can do better, much better than "Runaway"....)
The more I listen to Robbie Williams' cover "Love Light", the more I think "THIS could be the retro-sound for Jamiro's future!".....

"STOP I HATE MY SONGS"
The sense is this, as Cheeba vibe already said:
15 years spent all around the world. Now JK doesn't want to write anymore songs of success: he has enough of being a celebrity star
" I lost 5 summers of my life with my tours: now i want to stop and thinkin about what i desire more to do"
About Sony: finally i'm free to do what i want: i'm tired to feel the pressure of the show biz and tired to make songs of 3 1/2 minutes long addressed to a particolar kind of target: i'm so tired of my last songs and actually i'm without a label
When i'll have finished my album, i'll introduce myself to a manager and i'll say: what u can do for Jamiroquai?

..and then the article goes on tellin about his passion for cars etc...
