I believe all jam tracks are great... but it depends on what aspect of jamiroquai you like... I like whole jamiroquai but I like a bit more the funky disco stuf of it... Emergency on planet earth, hooked up, whatever it is I just cant stop, blow your mind just anther stoyry light years mr moon scam the kids virtual alright twm FUNKTION where d we go from here... thats why I sometimes skip those tracks... I also think it depends on which mood you are... _________________

Music of the mind really is one of my favourite Jamiroquai tracks besides Emergency On Planet Earth, Alright, Manifest Destiny etc.
And it was played live, this version is even greater than album one! It was played on BBC 1 Glastonbury concert back in 1993 and it has lyrics!!
Love that track |

Again, I do not HATE any JMQ tracks, but for pure listening pleasure, I find several AFO tracks not as endearing.
I could get bored of songs like Light Years, not listen to it for say 2 months, then when i bung it back on I go..."Yeah!!! I remember this!" But with several AFO tracks, I'm looking at Stop Dont Panic, Twenty zero one, Main Vein and Feel so Good, theyre just simply not quality and more worryingly, not the JMQ i love.
Anyway, on all the other albums, everysingle track is memorable! Just dont ask me to sing one to you when drunk! |

I have to agree with you here. On the whole, I listen to Jamiroquai's earlier material much more frequently than their most recent work (excluding Dynamite of course). Saying that, both Synkronized and A Funk Odyssey do have some amazing songs on...it's just that I find myself skipping through these albums to get to my favourite songs.
Travelling Without Moving is by far my favourite of all the albums so far.

P.S. Really looking forward to Dynamite! Not long to go now! |

Hello again,
I felt a new motive to post in this thread. I've been watching JMQ videos lately, and with this new 'Seven Days' video that looks like 'Love Fool', I got to say that the 'Love Fool' video is pretty boring!! The sequences are long, there are not a lot of shots like in 'Seven Days' (for naming one example)... I don't know, don't like it!

i don't like(i want to say hate but i think that's a kinda harsh to use it here ) every Jamiroquai songs that FunkEducation don't like since i found we shared alot of similarities when it comes to acidjazz music...so no need for me to elaborate long about it...
anyway i think i'd to thank FunkEducation for introducing me to Los Amigos Invisibles...if not because of that stupid and annoying Los Amigos Invisibles banner, I probably wouldnt even get the chance of listening to their stuff...dude Los Amigos Invisibles rocks!!! _________________ Selamat Pagi Dunia |
