I don't think this special offer was designed with the fans who dislike the artwork in mind although that should now please everyone , I hope!
Play.com do exclusive slipcases for loads of albums and I bought one for another artist last month
Evy - That will be the slipcase cover shown I'm sure
Hmv also sometimes do offers that include postcards on certain albums so that could be a possibility
oh - people on funkin are moaning about the slipcase now
which has just had me crying with laughter _________________

Y'know, I think it is funny to see the graduation of JMQ art on album covers. Historically it was very Anonymous. Always sort of concealed his appearance with hats, sunglasses. He is sorta coming out with his face! Good thing!
When TWM came out, I saw one quick interview and was surprised to see such a different person than the album and the stage! In a good way! |

I didn't spend much time on this. Most of the time spent was on finding suitable pics to play with.
What I'm trying to illustrate is that the cover of RDLS could've been made much more interesting than it is.
Imagine if something similar had been done by a professional artist... _________________ Old school forever! |

Now THAT is some DAMN IMPRESSIVE photoshopping, I am immensely impressed Brother Clav ! I think PLAY.COM has the right idea, or at least Universal should have, early on, been interesteded in doing a fan competition on who could come up with the most original RDLS album art. Cheers!
Sincerely,

Thanks for all the positive comments.
It's always fun to play around with Photoshop from time to time. I'm hoping there will be some nice bootlegs in need of cover art in the future. _________________ Old school forever! |
