Use the force sounded great..but then again we don´t want to talk about new versions of songs that haven been played for 10 years now, do we ?

Wow....that's total BS.
I think I'll leave my mind open to something like "Jay couldn't sing the new song like he wanted, so he had to improvise." |

I saw this in Rob's post! I thought he meant a new song from new album! but he was speaking of one they don't usually perform live.
so was it "Little L" wounded buffalo mix? was that the song? the remix of one they play? Or was it "Use the Force"?
I was hoping we'd hear "Smile" or "The World that he Wants".
but I'm a dreamer!!

That's one from the back catalogue then...
Pretty much know what to expect from a festival gig though right? _________________

Yeah, maybe that's what Rob meant, a new song as in 'a departure' from the classic set list.

"New" song means "new song", but that's just me. Hey. |

Lol, I'm still riding on that "mistake" as a contractual no-go.
New is new. There's no mistaking what it means.
Old classic or a "little surprise," is something else entirely.
Not bashing Rob or Paul, I totally appreciate them filling the fans in on what to expect. But new isn't something that requires you to dust off or ruffle through a catalog just to play.
Still, though, a new addition to the setlist was a well needed gesture regardless. |

You know, there are plenty of exciting bands and acts delivering us good music. We don't have to rely solely on Jamiroquai! _________________

Yes! plenty of music still! @Ophone
Yesterday I was concerned Jamiroquai were stuck in Russia as some airports were closed.
I was gonna post this video that I thought said "Quit it now"
but apparently the real lyrics are "Come wit it now"!
Who knew
but with the Gaza Strip war and the 2nd Malaysian plane down...

This place has been a ghost town for quite some time. With twitter and facebook and things of that sort becoming more popular, message boards are becoming obsolete. But I think ever since that shit he pulled on the x factor with his fight with Danni Minogue and Cheryl Cole, I haven't heard anything new Jamiro related.
I could have sworn Jay said that due to the lackluster sales of RDLS that he was not going to release any more albums with the Jamiroquai name instead he would release singles on the internet like he did with "Smile".
As much as I would love an album, it's not financial and time wise. the best decision for him to make. And singles would probably be what we should expect. _________________
