Ok, that´s how I see it: King for a day: Just to add that, as Stu said in an enterview, the song is probabilly about Jay himself (if you notice, at the end of the videoclip jay is talking to his imagen reflected in a silver spoon) High times: the song is JUST about cocaine. Have u tried the stuff? suddenly night time came to daylight, and a minute became a day... kids wanna give it up, etc... I don´t thing he´s critisizing (does that word exist? ) the society or anything... Just cocaine. not weed or acid. the white stuff. Peace! I cannot believe the song is just about drugs. I think it has another meaning too.

It´s not a rumour: he told some years ago he had given it up but he´s again on dope (I don´t really think that he had ever given it up). Of course cocaine is not the worst thing he had done: He told in a 1994' enterview that he had tried everything. By the way, I wouldn´t like to see he giving up drugs. There is from he gets the inspiration to compose: shakespierre, Quevedo and other famous artist were all on dope and they´re just great. Space cowboy and high times are about drugs, and they are 2 of the very best songs of jamiroquai. It´s his bussines! No drugs= no jamiroquai old good sound. And about the girldfriend, there were some rumours about he dating a brithis not known singer, but I don´t thing he´s with anyone at the moment.

Cucha éste, pero nene,que te traes tu con las drogas joé, tio de verdad son sobre las drogas? hobmre ,higt times es evidente,pero space cowboy....... y yo no creo k sin coca no hay jamy, amos hombre! jay kay tiene mucho mas talento del k parece,u una voz mucho mejor de lo k se oye. si es un crak hombre,por cierto, el disco nuevo pa cuando ! amos ya !

Holas! Pero quilla, high times es sobre la cocaina, y space cowboy sobre marihuana y hachís (es descaradísimo). Te pongo algunos ejemplos: -Everything is good, and green/brown: todo es bonito y verde/marrón (maria o hachís)... I´m here again with a sunshine simle... en el videoclip salen de fondo hojas d marihuana, my friends are close at hand (q stan colocaos), at speed of cheeba (cheeba es un tipo de hierba originaria de brasil, en inglaterra se le llama también a la maria), en el estribillo dice: I´m getting high (en inglés es me estoy colocando...) solo una muestra, amos. Cannabliss (una de ls canciones del próximo disco) es también sobre eso, pero no le llega ni a los talones a space cowboy... Y high times lo mismo pero con la coca: de repente la noche se hizo día, un minuto se convirtió en un día, los chicos quieren dejarla, tu guitarra es una pipa de cristal, etc... esa canción la han prohibido en muchas radios inglesas por lo fuerte que era, y space cowboy fué censurada en EEUU y jay en el videoclip q se estrenó allí cambia freeba por cheeba, etc... d todas maneras si quieres hablar pilla mi email y añademe al messenger.
