Davina!!! Great to see you back!!!
You really have to tell the whole story here at Jamirotalk. We have a lot of newbies here who probably haven't heard of your experiences at the last tour!!!
Jamirotalkers... the second banner brought davina very close to Jay and Jamiroquai...!!!
But, davina, YOU have to tell them...
(you did such a great report about the whole thing... does it still exist somewhere in the net? you could put a link... )

Thanks Bron!
Hi Meike! yeah it's great to be back, missed this place loads!
I have a feeling my report on the Singapore concert has been removed from the net since it's a pretty old article. But i have got it printed out and stored somewhere at home - it would take eons to retype tho! i was on such a hyper-ranting mode when I wrote it. hahaha...
I'd love to retell the experience tho to anyone who would be interested to hear... where would I post it tho? because it... erm, won't exactly be a short fleeting message... _________________ Don't just talk... Jamirotalk! |

Wow! How did you find those links again Meike? Even I couldn’t find them hehe. I just read them again and they just refreshed my memory of the experience I had there – a few details which even I forgot! Will copy and paste into the respective section for keepsake. Thanks very much Meike! |

I wasn't really lucky, it's just that my chances of meeting the guys were increased by the fact only a handful of hardcore fans came as early as i did... (which, by general concert standards, isn't even considered early!) but yeah, it was really sweet meeting them. rob and nick were just the coolest people! |

craziesat thing i ever did for jamiroquai was this........ 3 18 year old hardcore/metal kids where payign me out for liking jamiroquai so i stood my ground and they threatened to beat me up if i didnt say i hated jamiroquai and id throw away the cd that was in my discman (synkronised) and i refused to say it i loved them so much so they stole my synkronized cd and gave me a pretty good thumping but it was worth it i bough another synkronized and my wounds healed and i still have jamiroquai! |

The craziest thing I did was back when I was DJing I had a gig @ McGann's Pub (Boston, MA USA) and the crowd was so boring (just hung out at the bar) that half way through I decide to subject them to the whole Synkronized cd (played it twice back to back) and sat back and got drunk...lol. Needless to say that was the last time I took a gig over there even though I was (Original Owner died) good friends with the owner Tommy McGann. _________________ I used to worry about the future

craziest thing..
Hi Cheeeba lover, Did you go racing in your parents car though?
Craziest thing (am told) that i ever did was on 2 weeks notice, i flew to Europe and took the train to see their shows, first in Spain, then in Poland. I know some spanish, but don't speak it fluently, so had to figure out how to get there from the train station, etc. Poland was even harder to get around. I had to put my trust in people and they were all so nice along the way.
that's not really that crazy ...i missed them when they came to the US...it was when I was scraping by...tix were $60.00 or something as it was at a festival in the mountains...I didn't go and had to hear the tale of someone i knew who met and hung out with the band after the show. Said he felt like a king for a day. |
