JRR Tolkien?!?!?!?!?
Stupid thief!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
''Writer'' who has stolem every single sentence of his books. All of his fans should read Ring of Nibelung - Wagner (opera). You all will find it veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery similar with Tolkien. And carachters................
Just read some Norvegian, Danish and Gearman mitology. You will find plenty of ''his'' carachters there. Probably all of them. At least I did.....

Okok I've read lots of mythology and I know what you mean but Tolkien wasn't a thief... one of the intentions on his work was to make those myths more appealing to future generations... and you can see the results now... Mythologies from over the world are very alike beacause were created to answer the big questions of mankind and to keep some values for the people to come. Tolkien doesn't fail in this objective. In fact Tolkien himself encouraged people to read these classic myhts. I think you should see it as an influence, not stealing.

Yeah, Jamirobeto. Besides, if he would have been a thief, he wouldn't have had all the success he had, I mean, someone might have noticed that. I must confess that at first I thought teh same as you starman, but then I realized I was wrong.

my all time favorite is "La Familia de Pascual Duarte" (The Family of Pascual Duarte) by Camilo José Cela, a great book about a man with a life full of troubles!
also I really dig 1984 by George Orwell.
