yeah, i agree with you 105%, ezzi. i don't mind making copies of bootleg-cds. there are no benefit for the band anyway. but i never made a copy of one of the original albums... wait, that's not true. when i went to the US i took only copies with me. but i still have the original-albums at home _________________ Dear Auntie Em. Taking a little walk...
Hello, :jay5:
Great picks everyone for bootlegs, warms my heart! What I mean by my comments Ezzi was, like you said, when your tired out from listening to Jam bootlegs, take a pair of headphones, and spend a day listening to all 5 of Jamiroquai's albums. I at least one day of each month listening to all the albums, it kinds of helps me stay mentally with Jamiroquai vibes and helps reaffirm my loyalty to the band, all fans ought to try it sometime, really calms me down on hard days of work! Hope that cleared it up a bit, thanks for listening and the usual props to CosmicMouse and Bear! Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

Sometimes, I take my Sony headphones with
companion Walkman and go on a long walk and
listen to several random Jamiroquai songs on my
venture, nothing more beautiful in life than watching
a sunset while cooling out to "Corner Of The Earth"

No CosmicBear, don't worry.
I am a good girl and always buy original albums in a regular store.
This involves not only Jamiroquai but all other artists I fancy. I find it fair to reward an artist for his work because he/she/they provided me with a "service" = good music...
So you see, Ezzi , I would certainly not laugh at you for buying originals.
I would be ready to pay for bootlegs of Jami concerts, if there were on regular sale.
I would also love to buy former singles and various versions if those CD were still released by the record company. But they aren't anymore, so you have to find another way.
In his ( awful ) interview from July in the Herald Sun, JK was attacking the downloaders on the www. There is some truth in what he said. I think authors, be it a musician, a painter, a writer, or a photographer.... should benefit of a protection of their work.
Still, downloading is another way to get to know music and artists that you did not know before. This promotion of music through downloading should not be underrated
Yes, Jamirofan2000 .
I have notived that after listening to Jami bootlegs for a while, I love to go back to 1 of the 5 studio albums and enjoy it more than I used to. How weird. Iwonder where this comes from.
My difference from you is that I do not like to listen to all 5 albums on the same day. It makes me dizzy .
I experience the same feeling when I go to the movies. I like it when the film leaves an on-going impression on me for a while. So for me, the rule is: one at a time ! |

I didn't think this one was that special? I also got another one in the mail today but i'm afraid to tell you which one because it might freak you out again :6lol:
I got them on Ebay btw, and in November there is a large recordfair in Utrecht i always go to to get my Janet stuff, and now i can search for more Jami (singles and bootlegs) I just love the search really. This recordfair is an international one and it's huge. Buyers and sellers from all over Europe come here, maybe you should come to the Netherlands _________________ Now we did it once, can we do it again?
