Last night I dreamed I was watching TV and Jamiroquai's "new single" came on - it was a sentimental ballad about how bad drugs are!  Next thing suddenly we were now in a car, it was night, Jay was driving, I was next to him and my youngest son was asleep beside me and I was asking Jay about why they would write such a terrible song. He was explaining that they had to get the message across to people who didn't normally listen to their music, but then he started to worry that my feet would be cold because I had no shoes on. 
Then I woke up!

I've had several Jamidreams, but the one that freaks me out was one when I was the bass player    and we composed a brand new tune - I swear I hadn't ever listened those licks or chords in my life - and We played it in a concert!!!!  ... The sad thing When I woke up; I realized It'd been a dream and worst of all... I couldn't remember a damnned note!!!!!   |

i remember a few nights before going to the buenos aires gig, i was so obssesed and excited about it, that i dreamed that i was going to the concert really really early,and they were doing the sound check (is that correct, prueba de sonido?). but only the band was in the stage, jay was "watching" them from a "box" which was opposite to the stage, with all the sounding systems and stuff. so, i dont know how, i got there, and started to chat with jay, and he was really nice and funny, i remember we laughed a lot. and dont remember nothing more from there!
but after that dream, i got even MORE excited about going to the gig, that i actually hoped i might come true (yeah i know it sounds a bit silly,but well, it was my first jmq show ever). |
