A friend of mine copied the hat of the Synkronised era and came with it at La Cigale at Paris : he had loads of success ( but nothing there with any girls...).
Be sure: everybody will be jalous of yours!!!!

Excellent work!!!Maybe with it you'll have the chance to come back up onto the stage??!!

Haha that'd be dreaming! Nah, I don't think so... in fact, as I said (and Jamirokaki latest post here), is not that big for me, but I'm afraid of being the 'ridiculous' one wearing that! It takes much of the attention! But who knows, I may kill someone with one of the black things... Laughing

diego, if jamiroquai comes to argentina you can have the hat in the show?

I made them with something called 'acetato' (don't know the english word for it). I don't know if there's black, but I bought a grey one, and then sticked black fine cardboard on the back.

... and yes, they are dangerous!! Surprised

Hmmm, I don't know the acetato-stuff. But as far as I understand it's sticked to some cardboard. At first glance the spikes looked real steal to me Cool . And I definitely beleave that's dangerous Wink
By the way, you would get a lot of attention here in Holland if you enter the disco with that hat AFO hat But I don't think you get through security first 6lol

AFO hat

The acetato stuff.. umm, let's see. It's like a transparent plastic, but is not completely transparent. I believe they sell black plastic like that one, but I couldn't find it. So, I sticked the cardboard in the back, to make it look black. What I have to do now, is to make it look "nicer" the back of the hat. That is: stick some of that plastic behind. But after that, I want to put the feathers on, and the small color thing around.

I found something that looks like what I used:

Hmmm cool D!
Over here they sell plastic foil that looks like carbonfiber (cause that's what the spikes of Jay's hat are made of). But it's a lot of work to make the complete hat. I can imagine the spikes are the easiest to duplicate...

OK enough with the hat. I finished it. I still need to find the same color strip, but hey, I like how it looks. Is very very light, but it gets HOOOTT!!! LOL

Hehe

Now I'm going to make the new one, the shiny. I hope he won't change it again for the next tour LOL

OK. You'll see my process here, for now all I have is the black fur of the hat. I'll buy this things called here "lentejuelas", that look like this:
