I am resident in Saudi Arabia, but I have relatives in the UK, they will be recording this on regular VHS Pal format.
I think Jan/MsP mentioned that it is a little late for her to sit and wait up for, so if she figures out how to preset her recording methods - then she'll be a sure bet (won't you Jan ???).
Mr. Rowe did promise us on www.funkin.com that he will be doing his best to record it and make it available on his downloads later.
A word of apprehension . . . I think there will be meagre snippets, too much commentary and more advert time than you can handle. I hate to be pessimistic, but this is my feeling.
And everybody watch out for my son in the front row, dead centre on the barrier. He will be wearing a white t-shirt with a EOPE (jungle design) filled in Buffalo Man on the front, he is only 14 - so he was the only child up front. It was his first ever gig of any sort, so his virgin trip was an all day concert culminating in Jamiroquai !!!
And you clever dicks can pick out the rest of Jamily who were lined up most from midcentre to right of the stage in the first two front rows. Me and the Bear second row, dead centre - right behind my son and MsP and Jamirocat and Cosmic Mouse !!!
What a day, and night, and day before and day after !!!
'Sir' JK mentioned during the gig: 'Hallo to the Ealing Possey'
Who are they ???
Where are they ??? (yes, yes, I know there are in Ealing)
And do any of them post here ??? |

it's already for downloading at funkin site.
the selection of the tracks didn't finally include songs form all the albums but it's great anyway.
sad that the love fool one is edited, and that the sound is not balanced very well, hard too hear the sax on deeper underground and the bass in starchild, and the sampled parts on feels just like it should.
funny too see lot of you in the crowd! _________________

AMAZING!!!
wohoo...!!!
Just downloaded it and watched it! It is fantastic!!
And yeah, I noticed a lot of familar faces, mine included...
And the best is at 6:09 (I think) ... In SDISJ, when Jay is
singing "drinking wine and killing time" you can see my bubbles
next to Jay and then Jay trying to catch them. How cool is that?
Hm, the sound is great on my husbands computer. I played a bit with the equalizer, put more bass and made it a bit lighter... then it is really good!
I so want this concert in full length on DVD!!! Please, please Santa Claus... pleeeeaaase!!
Thanks David for putting it online so fast!!

same here ... I got the audio from that gig but that isn't really good quality, this sounds sooooo much better. If they have this footage, where is the rest?
Can't we just bombard this tv station with e-mails for the rest of the footage.
I'm just aching for a good quality recording of one of the shows of this tour.
ps. can somebody make audio rips of this recording? |

I hope this conviences Sony and the band about releasing a new dvd this year. For me highlight of the performance is Deeper Underground (made me shiver and headbang), the others just didn't hit me (ok, Starchild maybe). Big up for the bubbles and David! |

Hello,
I haven't had the luxury of fast comp download speeds today, so I will have to wait to revel in the B-Live download on the Funkin Site . But if some great fan could put this on a DVD-R, including the Toronto & NYC vid clips, for me, I would be most indebted to you . I mean, I could wait to it myself on one of the myriad of library comps I use, but I would prefer the latter. Please PM me if anyone can help me out and thanks in advance! I also remember listening to the low quality B-Live audio, I share Mouse's dream, a B-Live bootleg, high quality, for download, in my stocking before Santa watches it...hehe! Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,

Hey!
I re-lived July 3rd 2005 all over again! It was so great, if not slightly surreal, to see myself and fellow Jamirotalkers grooving away to the music and soaking up the atmosphere! What a crowd and what an experience!
I only wish they would put together a DVD of this fantastic concert... ...for the moment, I will just have to exhaust my tape recording...
