Bear - Actually, yes I did get most of it back. He still owes me some, but it's not much.
And I will get it all back! Especially if Jamiroquai come back in the spring. I'll need that money for tickets!
I was in love, so my common sense was clouded. All good, I learned!

This is more sweet than romantic & was a friend of mine who did this rather than me... but here goes with the story anyway!!
I was always a clumsy child (still am a clumsy adult now!!) & always fell over a lot! (Still do this now too!!) One time when I was about ten I fell over & cut & grazed all my arm & leg up. I was with my best friend at the time (a boy). I was crying a lot & I still remember how worried he was that I'd hurt myself. He gave me these lil presents to try to stop me crying & to cheer me up: things that were his prize possesions. I still have them today!! He gave me this cool lil blue watch & this little koala bear soft toy...
Just a sweet story that made me smile to write... |

Thanks Mike Strange how friendships change eh? I lost contact with him & although he only lives less than five miles from me I haven't seen or spoken to him for over five years!! Now that's not quite so romantic is it?!! |

The most romantic thing I've ever done it didn't happen yet, it's about to come.
It's going to be 5 years since I met Sam and three since we're oficially a couple. And, as I am deeply in love with him, I decided to leave my country, leave behind family, friends, food, places, etc., just to be with him. Of course, as I said before, this didn't happen yet. But it won't be too long to become a fact.
This is the most romantic thing I still didn't do but I will do sometime really soon...

Oh I remember doing something like that!
It was in 2003, after finishing high school. I had a crush on one of the girls of the class, and one of my best friends too. Nobody ever knew I liked her. So, to get to talk to her, I started to 'introduce' my friend to her, so they can be together as my friend wanted, only to talk to her!!
They are still together, so I'm pretty good, am I??
I wonder why I didn't talk her about me
Still, I feel great about the fact that I made a good thing for them. Not very romantic though...

I don't know about the most romantic thing I've ever done but, the most romantic thing that ever happened to me:
I was traveling with Ozzfest tour (selling body jewelry, tshirts, and smoking paraphanelia) the summer of '99. I was having a blast until the fourth of july hit. We ended up on the Naval peer in Chicago when the fireworks started going off.
A ship was comming in to dock (the biggest I'd ever seen) with lots of people on it, they were waving to loved ones and stuff (I felt like I was in the middle of the making of a movie, very twilight zoneish)
all of a sudden I felt extremely lonely.
I started thinking about my brother for some reason and my eyes started getting all glossy (mellow drama I know), anyway...I was walking towards a building hoping to get to a bathroom and straighten up before any of the others saw me and started trying to talk about it or comfort me or something really uncomfortable because really there was nothing to say, I was just having a moment.
So, I'm walking...and a beautiful elderly gypsy woman walks over to me and blocks me and hands me a perfect rose. I look in her eyes and they are so familiar, it's like my family is right there in her eyes, before I can even say thank you or reach for money or anything, she's gone. I'll never forget her. (I wasn't even high either).
Anyway, it made me feel completely rejuvinated and gave me strength, so there was no need to keep the rose. I gave it to the next
heavy shouldered person I saw, and they lit up like magic.
I learned a lot that night.
To me, it was very romantic. _________________

wow.
that´s a wonderfull story Sandisaster. And Diego, something similar happened to me time ago: my best friend loved the same girl than me and I told him that any girld was worth enough to keep us appart. then the both of us forgot about her and since then we are like the best mates you can ever have.
The most romantic thing I´ve done was the las month before christmast when I stayed at night for about 2 hour at the front of the college where a portuguese girl lives (i was soo in love with her and she was going back to portugal for christmast, so I was going to tell her I loved her and gave her a present and all that). Then she came out by the hand of her boyfriend (I did´n´t know she had one). I went back home feeling miserable and the stupidest guy ever. |

Noe's one doesn't count because she wanted to move to England before she knew me anyway. And because she said we're going to be together for three years when we already have been... But I think the most romantic thing I've done was fly all that way from Bristol to Buenos Aires to spend 5 weeks with a girl I'd never even met at the time (Noe, for those of you who are a bit slow). 7,000 miles / 11,000kms, just to see her. It was worth it.
And Mr.Az, when we say 'to sleep with' in English (British English at least, I don't know about the Yanks), it means 'to have sex with'. I think that's why Spanish Cozmik Girl made the distinction.
Oh, and hello again everyone, I've not been here for a while!

Some years ago, I dressed up as a bunny, i was in white lingerie haha, with the ears and everything for the birthday of my (then) boyfriend. I decorated the house, every room. Had a bathrobe on when he came in and he had to participate in a quiz. For every wrong answer he had to take clothes of... Of course all the answers were wrong !!! When I had him in his boxers, I tired him on a chair, went to another room, took my robe of and put my ears on, entered the room were he was again with a birthday cake in my hands and singing happy birthday !
No need to say what happened next... _________________ www.thisispeggy.com
