I've listened the Greatest Hits album and the songs are not remastered, the sound is the original one. However, Sony has reduced the length of songs like Blow your mind, space cowboy, virtual insanity, dghac, etc, so as to limit them between 3 and 4 minutes. I'm not a Jamiroquai specialist, but I supose that this new reduced versions are versions from the videos of those songs.

Are the "Radio Edit" versions.

I think they are remastered, i compare it with mi original EOPE and TRSC and the difference is important. You dont have any difference on the sound quality if you listen all the album on continuos mode.

They're remastered alright. I've compared the actual promo CD to the original CDs. I have all the albums and singles. Trust me, I know what I'm saying when I tell you the tracks have been remastered. No question about it.

Since (almost) everyone is saying it's remastered, that'll just be another reason for me to buy this. I know that after hearing Runaway, the sound of it does sound A LOT more crisp and louder than the older tracks I have,so hopefully the rest of the GH album is like that as well.

Hi there

I haven't listened to the promo, but it's obvious that they have to "retouch" them, at least to put all the songs in the same volume, and make it as a whole. The difference (music, instrument quality) between a track like "Emergency On Planet Earth" and "(Don't) Give Hate a Chance" is tremendous!

Good news that the tracks are remastered. Very good.

D!

Mmmmm, the tracks have been remastered, well this means I have to buy the album. Laughing

By the way, is this remix album included in every release of the Greatest Hits?

Well, according to this German Jamiroquai website, the tracks have indeed been remastered for 2006, but they say that about all of them including radio and runaway..
