I agree with catman. It's a compilation... Besides They're singles, not even the complete tracks. In those terms is less an "album" than any, when You've hear those lovely complete versions
TROTSC had a concept in it ( f@# up in the US release ) and a vibe that far away to begin another discussion about it, hasn't been the same |

I can see what you mean with your question, although I also think it's difficult to compare the two releases for the same reasons the guys before me have mentioned...
In order to continue the discussion we probably should reword the question - for example like this (i know it's very hypothetically - but still...):
Imagine this: you will go to a 5-years-trip to an uncivilized place and you could only pick one cd (plus equipment to hear it on your way), whereas you had to choose between the two possibilities: TROTSC or High Times - Singles.
Which of them would you take with you? The great album No.2 of Jamiroquai in its full length? Or would you take the compilation which includes singles from all decades?
I think this makes the desicion a bit harder, doesn't it?

Reword the question: Very "mum" of you Mouse . In that situation I'd take my time to think a little... five years without listening to CG and Alright, CH and five years without Mr Moon, Scam, Morning glory?
THAT is a hard question! |

yeh, there's no way to compare such albums... TROTSC was make with love, good vibes, and inspiration! High times was make editing the most commercial jamiroquai songs, adding them to a compilation, and that's it...
"The Return of the Space Cowboy" is my second love! after TWM! |

i also thougth (as i previously said) about the differences as an album and a singles compilation, but assnwered thinkin as mums clearer question.
