I heard him talking about it once.
There was an interview at Chillington in 1999 with the release of the album, 1 hour long, and it was broadcasted here on Much Music. The interviewer praised the album and said that his voice sounded very clear in every track, that it didn't mixed with the instruments, and you could understand every word of the song perfectly. Jay responded "wow thank God I didn't put the lyrics!" or something like that.
Maybe they didn't have time to do that, since the Zenderized incident, it was a rushed album.

Yeah you are right , and if he didnt do that he would be alone by now jejej, but still i beleive that he has a little bit of arrogance, because i still dont understand why in the greatest hits of the BAND the photos inside the booklet are only of him instead of being of the band and all the great musicians that have been with him the past 15 years.Maybe i am wrong but i think that jay got the fame up his head. And i am with Knjaz when he says that jam had only one constant member and thats jay.

Don't forget Jay's the guy who dances around the blinding white room with the moving floor... The video, or Jay himself, are the best ads for anything Jamiroquai because of the video's impact... The rest of the band... Nobody even knows how they f---ing look like except for a few fans. |
