OK, Belgian diesel might be quite cheap. (It's almost as low as Luxembourgish diesel. )
But Belgian petrol is quite expensive, about 20 ct more expensive per litre than here. _________________

Luxemburg.........
I believe, if we could...we would get our gass over there!
But i will empty my tank before i get home hahaha
But i do think, no matter how small...let countries be their own country.
You can join them into one, but, shit always hits the fan.
(look at Russia) .
Maybe it is just a bit of respect. _________________ May you always feel the wind on your face and the waves on your toes |

Last sunday the Belgians voted.
In Flanders the separatist parties nearly got half of the votes.
In Walloonia the socialists of Elio di Rupo made by far the best score and he'll be very probably the next Prime minister, because the Flemish unionist parties and the other Walloon parties don't really have another choice.
It's more than 30 years ago that Belgium had its last French speaking Prime minister.
I really can't see Belgium parted, mainly because of Brussels. The Belgian capital has become some sort of French speaking enclave in Flanders (Although the original Brusseleer dialect is a Flemish one). If I'm not wrong, around 85% of Brussels' population is French speaking nowadays and has lost the dialect.
In one point I agree with the Flemish, Halle and Vilvoorde should stay Flemish and shouldn't be integrated into the capital's territory!
At least those French speaking Belgians who want to live there should learn to speak Dutch!
Anyway, all Belgians should speak at least 2 national languages, of which one is Germanic and the other Romanic. This can open very interesting perspectives, just ask us Luxembourgers!
But the best would be if the Belgians (like Peggy ) could all speak all three of the official languages, Dutch, French and German! _________________

| Although Dutch people (and I mean from Holland) are willing to join with Flemish Belgium, I´m proud of my little country with beautiful corners !!! And if people speak french, dutch or german (and this in such a small country) i don´t care and i think it´s charming. Belgian people are know for speaking different languages so... no problem there !... |
I had the chance to visit this BEAUTIFUL country, both French and Dutch parts, and It's really interesting to understand how people with so different languages can live together, even though the differences.
I'm agree with you, Peggy. All what you said is part of the Belgian identity. |

It seems interesting, but I can only understand a few things.
What are they trying to say? |

They're making loads of word games about the political situation in Belgium, things I can't translate unfortunately. _________________
