Hello,
Well, you know, the 12-19 American Teen demographic are going all gaga about Twilight and it's sequel 'New Moon' here in the states....but honestly, I have been better 'vampire/occult' movies . The Twilight series is very much a desired taste, yes, I have seen both movies and no they didn't motivate me to go out and become a 'white light vampire' and even without a beating heart, yes, vampires are dead, I didn't want to strike up a 'autumn season long' romance with a 'Zoey DeChanel' looking girl. Now, I remember when vampires were protrayed with more 'gusto & balls' with just a hint of a feminine side' & the perserving and respecting of the alive , Anne Rice's 'Interview With A Vampire'/Bela Legosi's & Bram Stoker's 'Dracula' is all I need to subside my tendencies for classic and respectable Vampire Movies. Idle romantic glances, parched white skin and fighting other evil vampires/werewolfs in the style of what feels like an occult version of Nintendo's 'Kung Fu' doesn't make for a vamp movie with any substance, just overly marketable fodder to sell sell sell! Just my 2 cents....
Sincerely,
