Hi!

I'm not going to open another thread on this because I haven't got a lot to share on this, pictures were not allowed Sad

Btw...I've been at the Heavies gig in Milan on Friday 21.11.2008 Smile
The whole set has been great...it reminded me to Ahaus especially "Jump and Move". I really like this venue here in Milan, I've seen Incongito there 3 times...it's part of the world famous "franchising network" Blue Note...very small (around 200 people) and jazzy scenario. N'Dea asked the people to come up and dance, she said "If you came here to hear some jazz you were wrong, it's not our deal so please stand up" LOL.

A crappy pic of the venure from the 1st floor:

Before the gig I met Simon Bartholomew and had finally my first signature on a Heavies record Very Happy

Simon was a bit twisted LOL During the gig he had a fake hair in his pants...something like a tail and kept throwing guitar picks to a girl which was sitting in the table in front of him...he had a bunch of picks LOL

The whole band was great...I still have a feeling that N'Dea acts like a diva sometimes and this is not actually funny...

Btw...here's my Dream Come True single and gig tickets: Razz

Funny....i called her a dive, but in a good way in her face....
And, she did not like that ....AT ALL

Even when i said that i meant being a strong woman on stage and the voice....there was NO WAY that she sees herself as a diva.
Not even when you mean that in a good way!
She was offended, becuase often your hear about the diva in a way that they DEMAND stuff.
And she totally does not feel like she is a diva!
(i explained that i meant it in a good way, but she would not change her mind..NO DIVA)

Konni remember that hair piece...and what he did with in after the gig haha

He took it from his back pocket, opened his zipper and put it there ....think he forgot it after because it was still there in the hotel hahaha

If you check his microphone stand, you see a whole row of pics.
And after the encore, it is filled up AGAIN.

Simon in Action in Leverkusen....but you see the nice row of pics on his microphone stand

Hi everyone,

Regarding the "diva" stuff, I totally agree with comments!

I saw the BNH in Paris on the 18th and she didn't really act like a friendly person:
- She dissed the previous BNH singers twice during the show. (hey sweetie, YOU left the BNH attempting a solo career that never really took off!)
- She acted strange towards a little girl in the front row. She began chatting with her in English during the show (what's your name, how old are you, etc.). She asked the girl "Can you sing". The girl, who was just 11 turned to her parents to ask what it meant and N'Dea said directly : "Oh, you need to ask your parents to know if you're able to sing? Wow" with a rather disrespectful tone. (The girl ended dancing on the stage a bit a couple of songs later, so I guess N'Dea didn't meant to talk in a bad way, but it sure sounded nasty!)
- She was a bit pissed because some lights over the stage were too shiny for her and she wanted these turned off, but, well, if the lights were off, the stage would have been really dark. She acted a bit like a princess...

Apart from these little things, the show was really great and I had a wonderful night with massive party music and super-friendly musicians. I truly recommend you go and see them if they perform near you! Smile

BNH in my second homecountry

I was planning to go to this gig even if I would have been able to attend Leverkussen and Utrecht but since I missed those I just HAD to go and what better place then the country where I partly grew up with all the holidays I spent there with my parents and friends.

Starting off just before midday I jumped in the van, rode about 1,5 hrs to Natalie's place to pick her up after which we embarked on the travel to the beautiful Luxemburg city - unfortunately almost entirely on expressways so no beautiful surroundings and twisty roads like I'm used when I ride there on my bike.

Around 17:00u we arrived at Änder's (Ophone) place where we were welcomed by Rosa and a cup of coffee - sorry Rosa, I don't like coffee at all. After a while Änder arrived and pretty soon we made way to the venue. There was no queue so we decided to drink some whine while killing time. Nat became a little nervous and went picking up the tickets already and came back with Xavier and Cristina. After chatting a little longer we walked around the corner to the venue and took our places front row - where else.

We didn't have to wait very long before the band started and I really enjoyed the gig. I was a tiny bit bummed that they didn't play 'Gimme one of Those' after I yelled that song when they asked what we wanted to hear but they made that later up with 'have good time' - the first track I ever played with a band not even knowing (back then) that it was BNH song. Anyway I think it was a good show but maybe the Heavies really need to mess up for me not to like it ...

After the show we waited as long as we could inside but when they sort of closed up we went outside and waited for the band. Xavier en Cristina left a little to early because Jan Kincaid emerged about 10 min after they left. A little later Simon came out and after a picture and autograph I decided to show him my BNH tattoo and he really liked it which resulted in another picture and while taking that N'dea came out - she wanted also a picture with the tattoo, also with er own camera. In the meantime Andrew walked by but Simon got him out of the bus for me resulting in more pics with the tattoo ... they really liked it - ha ha. For me this evening was complete - a great gig, pics and autographs of the four of them.

After that we went back to Änder's place, chatted a bit and went to sleep. Enjoyed a good breakfast the next morning before heading back home again.

Änder and Rosa, I already said it but I'll do it again. Thanks for the hospitality and you're care. I really felt welcome. You bet I'll visit you the next time I'm in Luxemburg.

Vax and Cristina, great to finally meet you after already chatting a bit away about Luxemburg. I'll let you guys know when I'm in the country again.

Natalie, thanx for the company, it was fun as ever.

and then follows a sorry - I have no pics of the gig, just some 'egotripping' me-with-the-band pictures who some people already saw on facebook. Nat, where are your pics and didn't Cristina or Vax make a couple of pics before the gig??

btw, I tried out recording it with my voicerecorder but the quaility is just too bad. Voicerecorders are not meant for these kind of recordings, besides I have no idea how to get the audio of it since there's no USB connection.

Anyway here's the pic I'm most proud of

The rest (including Änder texting Konni and Rosa and Natalie with bandmembers) you can find at my photobucket page
