Hi Russky, et al, well spotted mate. I knew I should have worn a false beard
Just to give some info........ Morrissey was supposed to be on the Jools Holland Show but cancelled late on Monday night. So they asked Daniel Merriweather to do it. His regular bassist is Dale Davis (from Amy Winehouse) and he was in St Lucia recording with Amy so I got a call to cover for him. It meant me learning/rehearsing the songs at the BBC during the soundcheck and then doing the shows later. It's not a permanent thing but was great fun. Hope everyone's well and happy out there. BTW we had a MEGA two weeks at Hook End Studios recently and all I can say is EVERYONE'S VERY EXCITED. Looks like a nice and "very live" album is on it's way xxxxP |

Am sure that the beard wouldn't stop us from recognising you Paul, no matter how hard you try
We're all very excited on this side of the fence too! Can't wait to hear the new tunes. As Meike said, thanks for the update!

Been in a similar situation some days ago... it's funny but also difficult... surely with your experience and skill you handled it perfectly and to a musician it's always such an interesting challenge! _________________ there's a stillness in time, which I cannot define, does your heart bleed like mine?

I'm psyched for the new material - this is shaping up to be what we've wanted for a long time!
Hookend, eh? What happened to recording at Jay's upgraded studio? Or was that more of a pre-production studio? Forgive my curiosity |

Just want to point out that I won't be playing with "Funk Affair" anymore. Myself, Rob, Dan Pearce (vocals & perc), Hazel and all of the Hit Horns have no association with it. xP |

one thing is that, when you won't be playing there we'll know that you're busy with the band, but another thing is that Funk Affair without you? goosh _________________
