Well, there are three interludes.
1st is 44 seconds long. There is some voice (electronicaly distroted) talking about twenty zero one and something about what does A Funk Odyssey mean.
2nd is 1.31 minutes long. For first few seconds, someone is barking, then humbling some song. It sounds really funny.
3rd one is special. It is Blue Danube from Johann Strauss, 22 seconds long. The one they often played on AFO tours.
This CD is called A Funk Odyssey UK test pressing. It is supposed to be the original AFO, but as I heard guys in Sony didn't want this one to be released so guys in Jamiroquai made another one. And it really is another one. You could say completely different album, different sound.
I don't know the deal with Love Foolosophy (there is no on test pressing), but this album is supposed to be better than one, we, the buyers got.
Those songs on Frenchiroquai can/could be downloaded, you just have to know how.
This album is very hard to find on internet, I think the only way is to ask someone who has it. You can't publish it because Sony would react immediately. This one shouldn't even come in our hands. It's public secret that we have it. That's way David didn't put all songs for longer time to download them because he knows he would get kind mail from Sony.
You may ask yourself how did we get it. I think it's the same as "original synkronized". As I heard, some Sony guy was selling Synkronized some time ago for big amount of money. Same thing with AFO, the difference is only that we, fans got AFO. We'll have to wait if ever we'll get original synkronized. |

Yep, that's right!
Hello, :bm_r:
Yep, Kay is absolutely right about the Interludes , I was also a little miffed that "LF" wasn't on the Test Pressing ! I got some of the Frenchiroquai downloads, but most of the 74 downloads (There were that many?!?) I already have, too bad I don't own a computer, then I could share them all. Anyhoo, thanks for listening and I hope your able to get the Test Pressing of AFO, it is truly special ! Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 |
